Pros:

Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Ausstattung mit Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine ist zweckmäßig.

Cons:

Das Schwimmbad hat wahnsinnig gechlort. Wir haben den Geruch gar nicht mehr richtig von uns abbekommen. Das Frühstück ist gut und zweckmäßig, produziert aber unfassbar viel Müll.

Cons:

Booked the hotel months in advance. They sent me a confirmation of booking they also sent me a confirmation and a time I can check in on the day I was supposed to check in. When I got there they did not have a room for me and told me I could not stay there. I had to find new accommodations and the prices went up 300 dollars a night because of a last minute booking. they were completely unhelpful.

I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the attitude and customer service of one of your employees.

I do not know this employee’s name, but I know that this person was working the night shift on that day and was wearing a white dress shirt.

Unfortunately, his/her attitude toward customers was very unpleasant and unprofessional. The tone of voice was rude, curt, and disrespectful. There was no greeting, no “thank you,” and no basic courtesy when communicating with guests.

The employee’s facial expressions and overall attitude also made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer.

I understand that working a night shift can be tiring, but this does not justify treating guests in such a disrespectful manner. Good customer service should include basic politeness, respect, and professionalism.

I hope management will take this complaint seriously and address the issue appropriately. Guests should be treated with courtesy and respect at all times.

Exceeded our expectations
Pros:

Two night stay. Room good and clean plus unexpectedly our room was serviced automatically. Once again we were surprised by how good the breakfast was. Not 5* but definitely exceeded expectations.

Komplett unpersönlicher Service, Dreck auf der Treppe im Treppenhaus wurde nicht weggemacht. Fleckige Teppichböden. Frühstücksraum ist eher eine Abstellkammer, da ist nichts schönes zu finden. Frühstück selbst ganz schwach. Plastikbesteck sollte es in der Preisklasse nun wirklich nicht geben. LKW-Parkplatz vor dem Hotel mit entsprechendem Lärm.

Cons:

The location was not pastoral (to say the least). On the road, outside the city.. We loved Golden, but recommend to stay close to the river or in the mountains. The industrial area is not where we love to stay more than 1 night during a vacation.

Due to the wildfires in August, there was a power outage at the property. However, this was not disclosed to us, and the rooms were still being offered at extremely high prices despite the situation.

We consider this unacceptable and rude, as important information was deliberately withheld from guests while the rooms were being sold at inflated prices.

We are still waiting for our refund and expect this matter to be resolved immediately. Please confirm the status of our refund and when we can expect the money to be returned.
