Luxury oasis of piece and service in the very center of activities in Florence.
Pros:

The location is superb, right next to Palazzo Uffizi and right in the middle of everything. Add to this a phenomenal staff that went out of their way to make our stay a great one. The hotel is an oasis of peace and calm in the middle of an always hectic Florence, it has only 8 rooms or so. Breakfast was great as well and the ability to take a brief brake during the day from all the people visiting Florence and reenergize was unique. Also, any interesting museum, church or area is max. 10 minutes walking away.

Cons:

Nothing. My only suggestions would be better communication about how to get there by taxi. Florence cab drivers barely speak English and a brief note from the hotel (in Italian!) with clear instructions for the driver would have saved us wandering around for 15 minutes with 4 suitcases. But once you get to the hotel, this is quickly forgotten.

Cons:

Le personnel de l’accueil, très jeune et qui manque un peu de chaleur et de prévenance attendus d’un 4 étoiles.

הסכימו לנו להשאיר את המזוודות עד השעה 16:00 ולא גבו על כך תוספת
דאגו לאיסוף והחזרת הרכב שלנו לחניה מותרת בסמוך למלון במתכונת של valet אבל צריך להודיע שעה מראש כשרוצים שיביאו את הרכב

קחו בחשבון שקשה לאתר את המלון, גם עם מפות גוגל
למי שמגיע עם רכב זה ממש לא פשוט להיכנס לתוך ה- ZTL ולנוע בתוך המוני הולכי רגל

Anreise mit eigenem Auto ist eine Herausforderung. Die Zufahrt zum Piazza Saltarelli wird von Google nicht als solche erkannt, da sie sich in einer überbauten Toreinfahrt befindet. Hier wäre eine eindeutige Wegbeschreibung vom Hotel sinnvoll, ebenso der Hinweis, dass die gesperrte Zone zu diesem Zweck befahren werden darf. Der externe Garagenservice hat hervorragend funktioniert.

מיקום מעולה במרכז של המרכז. צוות נחמד - עזרו לנו להשיג כרטיסים לתערוכה שלא הצלחנו להשיג בעצמנו.
צוות חדר האוכל מאד נעים - ארוחה מגוונת ונחמדה.
תמרוקים משובחים.
היה מצוין.

Cons:

היינו צריכים להקדים ביום - לא היה חדר כמו זה שהזמנו בבוקינג אלא רק החדר הקטן. אז הוספנו אותו ללילה אחד ישירות מהמלון - החדר היה קטן ולא כ"כ נעים - לו זה היה החדר שלנו כל השהיה הציון שלנו היה bמוך יותר. כשעברנו לחדר שהזמנו (דלוקס) - הכל היה מצוין.
לא בעיה, אך לתשומת לב למי שרלונטי: המעלית מגיעה לכל הקומות, אך יש 4-5 מדרגות למשרד הקבלה וחדר האוכל - מי שיש לו בעית נגישות - כדאי להיוועץ בצוות מראש.

I arrived at the Relais Uffizi hotel.

The hotel is elegant, classic, and of the highest possible standard — truly top level.

In cleanliness, in design, and in quality.

But it doesn’t end there.

Giulia,
Giulia is simply special — with an incredible, reassuring smile and a level of service and hospitality I haven’t experienced in years.

Come on, sit down, have some wine, go here, do that — all with an immense sense of warmth and heart.

First time in Florence, first time in this hotel — and if there are things worth coming back for, it’s this quality, this level.

Well done, Giulia.

Thank you for the experience, which is still ongoing.

And I haven’t even mentioned the quality, the design, and the incredible breakfast room with the most beautiful view in the world over Piazza della Signoria.

Simply wow — there’s no other word.

The hotel is also very well connected with restaurants and nightlife spots.
Just say you’re coming from the hotel or that you know Giulia — and the treatment becomes a hundred times better.

An experience like this, I wouldn’t have missed for anything in the world.
