Quiet location with ample free parking but not value for money even for Scandanavian standards.
Pros:

Quiet location on the outskirts of Torshavn , clean and relaxing.
Excellent breakfast buffet ( although the same hot sishes every day became annoying after four days.

Cons:

Ridiculously prices drinks and meals ( no more than glorified snacks due to the minuscule portion sizes) in their 1933 cafe. I fail to see how my room could be classed as ‘deluxe’ and the added premium that I paid. Outrageous that i was expected to pay an additional £60 to use the pool when i had already paid £1,650 for just gour nights B&B.

Mjög kósí. Rúmið, koddinn og sængin æði. Svaf mjög vel. Sturtan frábær. Morgunmaturinn var æðislegur! Maturinn á veitingastaðnum var mjög góður. Ekki stórar skammtastærðir sem hentaði mér mjög vel. Flott þjónusta á veitingastaðnum uppi.

Cons:

Mér fannst vanta lítinn kæli/ísskáp inni á herbergi. Eða einhvern stað til að sækja klaka í þeirri byggingu sem ég var. Var ekki inni í aðal hótelbyggingunni. Hefði verið til í að hafa glugga til að opna vel og lofta út. Veðrið var þannig að ég gat ekki beint haft svalahurðina opna. Hún vísaði líka beint út á bílastæði. Það tók mjög langan tíma að fá afgreiðslu á barnum niðri.

Pros:

The hotel is beautiful and the views over Tórshavn and the fjord are absolutely stunning. The design blends perfectly into the landscape, and the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. It felt like a special place to stay and was a great introduction to the Faroe Islands.

Cons:

The hotel is a bit outside of town, making the walk into Tórshavn longer than expected, especially on the return trip uphill. It was also one of the more expensive accommodations we stayed in during our trip.

Das Hotel liegt toll oberhalb von Torshavn, die Zimmer sind relativ groß, das Frühstück ist wunderbar und auch mit einem schönen Blick auf die Stadt. Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht bevor es nach Suduroy ging. Gern wieder.

Cons:

The breakfast room is way too small compared to the number of visitors. It takes 15 minutes just to get the cup of coffee; the lines are so long. And theu have only one coffee machine. It is hard to to understand.

Vue magnifique sur Torshavn, Position idéale de l'hôtel sur les hauteurs de la capitale.

Cons:

Chambre en cours de modernisation, malheureusement la notre était encore dans l'ancienne version, interrupteurs vieillissant, armoire qui fait du bruit, vitre teintée de la salle de bain qui ne fonctionne pas toujours comme on le souhaite, pas de frigo dans la chambre.
Le comble notre chambre est attenante à une salle de réunion, avec juste une porte pour séparer les deux. Réunion en journée pas gênant nous sommes en visite cela ne pose aucun problème. Le problème survient quand cette salle de réunion se transforme en salle de repas jusque 1h du matin, table de 8 convives forcément un peu bruyant et vu que nous ne sommes séparés que par une porte on entend tout et il est impossible de dormir. C'est honnêtement inacceptable pour un hôtel qui se veut de ce standing.
Autre gros point négatif de l'hôtel le restaurant, alors oui le petit déjeuner est excellent, mais le restaurant est une insulte à la gastronomie, entrée et plat surgelé, l'entrée était même encore congelé dans l'assiette

Vi kan ikke få øje på hvad det er der gør at hotellet er x3 i prisen i forhold til andre hoteller.

lækkert morgenmad. God beliggenhed. Skøn wellness afdeling

Cons:

Desværre fik vi en fiskesuppe som ikke var spiselig. Vi henvendte os flere gange til den unge og uerfaren tjener. Hun havde desværre ikke forståelse for at løse dette.
Vi kom til at betale for suppen og ville ikke kommentere det mere over for den unge tjener. V i henvendte os efterfølgende i receptionen som refundere beløbet. Vi talte meget pænt og stille og roligt til den unge tjener, men hun manglede tydeligvis en "overtjener" til at støtte hende. Det var ikke i orden.

Schön aber teuer
Pros:

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön und die Lage mit dem Blick über Torshavn auch gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und insbesondere nach langen Ausflügen ist die Bar inkl Snacks bis 22 Uhr praktisch und gut. Gut ausgestattetes Fitness Studio und die Zimmer sind zwar klein (zumindest im Nebengebäude) aber nett und gut eingerichtet.

Cons:

Preis-Leistung stimmt leider nicht, auch nicht gemessen an den eh hohen Preisen auf den Färöern. Die Preise für Wellness sind unverschämt als Hotel Gast. Auch das Frühstück war nicht sonderlich gut, lieblos, jeden Tag exakt das gleiche, Eierbecher aus Plastik, anstatt beim Jogurt mal geschnittenes Obst hinzustellen, muss man sich die Birne mit dem Brotmesser selbst klein schneiden… das ist alles kein 4 Sterne Standard in der Preisklasse. Der Service ist langsam und unaufmerksam.

L emplacement pour visiter plusieurs îles et la capitale qu on peut rejoindre a pieds de l hôtel. Le confort, la vue, le buffet du petit déjeuner parfait.
