What a view
Pros:

The views across Chesil Beach are stunning.
Staff are very cheerful and friendly.

Cons:

There is not much as at the top of the hill, so unless you eat in the hotel, it means trekking down or driving out somewhere for evening meals.
Our room was quite old fashioned - the furniture definitely needs replacing with modern styles.

Cons:

To be honest we thought our room was a bit dated, but for one night it was ok. Next time we’ll have one with a patio.

Great location but hotel isn’t taking advantage of this at all!!
Pros:

Location is great. Lisa on reception is wonderful!!

Cons:

Room is like a chalet. Very claustrophobic and no views. Very basic for the price. Breakfast wasn’t great. Cheap options. Evening meal was like school dinners.

Great stay
Pros:

Location, views and near by walks are really great. Every area of the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. All of the staff are very helpful, polite, friendly and extremely hard working. Nice food and great cocktails. Rooms were comfortable, clean and have good TVs.

Unfortunately we do not have a lot to say … for the money we spent on a room it really was NOT worth it at all

The bed was terrible we were awake at 5.30 and we left well before check out was needed - it was a pleasure stay, not work, we had breakfast at 7am and left very soon after -

Pros:

Breakfast choice and self service fast and efficient.

Cons:

Overall the hotel appears "tired" ,very clinical and utilitarian.In need of a total revamp and modernization.
The corridors are dark and dismal, the stairs to the first floor , not user friendly, lift only accessible to main restaurant!
The twin beds were small, mattress and pillows lumpy and uncomfortable.
Only one bedside table shared between twin beds, very awkward to manoeuvre.
No plug sockets near bed area.
TV very small, limited channels.
Bathroom, unable to have a shower or a bath, cold tap not working, hot tap very very hot!
In general not value for money 😞

The staff were very friendly, and helpful but the hotel was disappointing considering the cost!!
Pros:

The property has amazing views from the top floor, and easy access to the stone quarry and sculpture park.

Cons:

The building is in a great location for views but not in walking distance to any shops or restaurants. In addition the facilities themselves were somewhat tired and jaded.

Pros:

View was great. Equally, the breakfast choices and quality were great and better than expected. Also the restaurant provided a good standard and sufficient choice for all of us. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
