Love this hotel, we gave stayed before, it is unique. It has its own personality, doesn't try to compete with other hotels, embraces it's history and throws in lovely modern touches. Secret garden is a gem. Food very good, excellent breakfast, pizza is a good addition to secret garden. Staff friendly and efficient.

Tout était très bien.
le problème du parking. L'hôtel n''ayant pas de parking propre, c'est la faiblesse de cet établissement.
One of the best hotels in the south west as far as we are concerned. Amazing character, beautiful location, great bar and food. Also, fantastic garden with gorgeous views and perfect breakfast. We go every year.
AAAALLLES....
Es war einfach nur großartig. Der Garten. Die Bar. Das Zimmer. Das Essen. Ich wäre gerne vvviiiiieeelll länger geblieben
Da gibt es NICHTS
Excellent variety .well presented , overall a great start to the day
Quirky layout dating back hundreds of years. Lots of little nooks to discover & enjoy. Staff excellent - particular mention to Becca MacDonald who mixes a great Negroni & also served in Psalters. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. We stayed in room 14 Grabbist. Stunning 4-poster and even has a little room over the porch.
Hotel doesn't have a cocktail menu & their range of liquors and syrups for making cocktails is smaller than I have at home. I really think they are missing out on an opportunity. Virtually every other place we have stayed in this price bracket, actively advertises cocktails.
Very quirky. Full of character
No parking!
Amazing, charming, medieval building, lots of nooks an crannies
