Looks nice but wasn’t really clean
Cons:

There were old tissues under our bed and hair in the shower. Also our room faced a soccer court with people playing from 7am to 9pm. And there are no curtains to block the streetlights coming in.

Looks nice, but loud environment
Pros:

Everything looks quite nice (not as good as on the photos though) and the staff is friendly

Cons:

It is very loud, there are cocks screaming the whole day, during the night dogs bark and you can hear the water flowing in the walls when other rooms shower.

Pros:

Me encanto que mi dormitorio haya sido amplio y que inmediatamente se haya ofrecido opciones de estufa, nunca pasamos una noche fría. Los desayunos fueron increíbles, fue genial que haya opciones para comer y la vista desde el comedor hacia los nevados fue inmejorable. El personal siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar a cualquier solicitud. El dueño siempre dio consejos precisos para conocer la ciudad y las diversas atracciones

Las televisiones podrían ser Smart para poder conectar nuestras cuentas de NETFLIX.

Meilleure vue de Huaraz
Pros:

L’accueil, le confort des chambres, le petit déjeuner avec vue sur la cordillère blanche.
Le personnel était aux petits soins avec nous et très réactifs pour chacune de nos demandes, je recommande vivement!

Decent place to start your hikes
Pros:

The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable and it has a good breakfast.

The hotel in general is located away from the busy centre, which is nice because it is very relaxing, but it requires you to walk 20 minutes (or take an uber) anywhere.

Cons:

There are chickens and cocks screaming all day long. This is not the hotels fault, but it was very loud. Also there was an entertainment park nearby that was noisy during the night until 10pm. And no, we didn’t want to sleep with earplugs.

Also the water pressure was sometimes very weak and once we had no warm water - but after telling the hotel, they fixed both.

The staff is nice but understands little to no English.

Pros:

Hotel excelente, confortável, banheiro amplo, vista bonita. Piero e o pai foram excelentes anfitriões e nos auxiliaram até mesmo na organizacao dos passeios. O hotel tem vista muito bonita e excelente cafe da manha, tinha até morangos frescos no cafe. Foi uma excelente escolha para recompor as energias após os passeios exaustivos.

Nada. Gostei de tudo.

Most helpful and charming staff
Pros:

Nice apt with kitchen and small balcony with Mountain View’s. Breakfast at topfloor was excellent and the chef’s scramble eggs were second-to-none

Super vriendelijk personeel, denkt goed met je mee. Lekker ontbijt. Mooie kamer, met heel mooi uitzicht.

Cons:

Het personeel spreekt niet zo goed engels. Het ligt wat verder van het centrum af, wel dicht bij het bus-station.

We had an amazing stay at Maimara! The family is very friendly and helpful with any requests or questions we had.
Pros:

The room was very spacious and clean with a nice balcony! We had a warm shower and the breakfast was really good as well. We got a lunch package with some fruits and bread for during our tours.
