Pros:

2nd time staying at hiri fortress , and I couldn’t recommend it enough . It’s in the perfect location !!The rooms are outstanding , super comfy bed , and the best thing is the shower !!! Really spacious and the water pressure is 10/10
The owners are super helpful, such kind people , they gave us a good driver contact which was so nice of them , and they gave us a good discount compare to a regular driver .
Anytime I’m traveling back to Sri Lanka I will 100% be staying at Hiri fortress ! ❤️❤️

Peaceful, spacious with some promising elements to make it DELUXE
Pros:

The room was extremely clean. Bedding was spotless and pillows were very soft. Room was huge and had a big bathroom. It also had a kitchen space. 2 x500ml water bottles were left in the fridge. Shampoo in shower. The host was really friendly and only appeared when needed. The host was also responsive via WhatsApp. The AC and fan both were really good- making the room nice and cold. WiFi was strong. No power outages.

Cons:

To get from room to road you had to walk through grass, which meant it was full of water when raining- this could be fixed by making a cement pathway from each room (so guests would not get so wet).
The road outside the property was extremely muddy and rough, I met a cow on it one day. There was only one towel provided (a hand towel could be added). The shower gel was a very small bar of soap (this could be fixed by providing nice quality liquid shower gel). It would be very useful to have a water dispenser on the property. The property is very peaceful, but heavy rain is sounded clearly around balcony door and main doorway. The curtain pole was about to snap (host did make me aware). These changes could help with making the property more “deluxe”, as per its name. It could be dark walk way at night from the cafes etc .

Everything you need for your stay in Hikiteriya: a quiet area, a garden, spacious and clean rooms, and very close to the beach. Plus, the manager is very friendly.

Pros:

Nos alojamos mi pareja y yo y nos encanto!! Habitación super amplia y limpia, cama muy cómoda, aire acondicionado, nevera y cocina individual. Además, a menos de 10 min andando de la playa. El dueño es super simpático y agradable, nos dejó hacer el check out mas tarde y nos reservó el taxi para el siguiente destino a un buen precio. Sin duda repetiriamos!!!

Hele vriendelijke eigenaar met mooie grote kamers midden in het centrum maar toch rustig!

De eigenaar heeft ons geholpen met een vroege pick up naar de Yala safari.

Pros:

What an amazing stay !! Everything about this place was 10/10 .
The room is super spacious. Absolutely love the shower ! The WIFI is also very very good .
1 min walk to the beach , close to everything by foot .
The staff were super friendly ! I’ll definitely be staying here again next April !

Sehr sauber in guter Lage mit top Personal und Preis- Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Super Lage in Hiriketiya und wirklich sauber. Eine der wenigen Unterkünften mit warm Wasser und gutem Wasserdruck. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und wir konnten sogar später aus checken und unser Gebäck bis zum Abend dort lassen.

Good and clean accommodation
Pros:

A good accommodation in a central yet quiet location. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The garden is very lovely.

Cons:

A hairdryer, a mirror in the bedroom, and a mosquito net would be useful additions.
