Excellent venue with great staff and excellent breakfast
Pros:

Good location and spacious room with good shower. Staff were very engaging and helpful. Breakfast was superb.

Wonderful 2 night stop by over.
Pros:

Great 2 night stay. Free Parking at the back. Bedroom was on top floor with tricky staircase but beautifully decorated and had everything that I needed. I left early both mornings but still went out with a homemade bacon buttie! The tapas for dinner was delicious & there’s a lovely courtyard outside to eat / drink. I was very well looked after and will definitely come back.

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. It included a large bathroom with a choice between a lovely bath or shower.The whole establishment was appealing and welcoming. Food was of a high standard and the inclusion of a delicious breakfast made it great value. Free parking available nearby.

Cons:

Couldn't find anything negative.

A great place for a stay in Bolsover.
Pros:

Very close to Bolsover Castle. Very friendly staff. Clean comfortable room with a TV that actually allows you to see all the channels! Car parking available for free. Great Spanish and Uk food available for dinner.

Fantastic couple stay.
Pros:

Great location and facilities. Dinner was lovely with a steak date night special menu.

Cons:

It was a bit warm in the room at the top of the stairs but expected in the current weather!

It fit the bill.
Pros:

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very nice but had sloping roofs which was a bit of a hazard. Appreciate the supply of nice shampoos and shower gel. There were biscuits and bottles of water which is always very welcome. The breakfast was very nice too.

Cons:

The shower screen was broken and didn't close properly. The cleaner (a very nice lady) was mopping the floor and cleaning around us as we were eating our breakfast which didn't seem right.

I stay in a lot of hotels for work and the Sanctuary Inn is the WORST place I have ever stayed, if I could have left in
Pros:

There was very little I liked about the property other than it’s location

Cons:

The place was described as ‘boutique’ but it was tired and dated with poorly finished decor and wood work and old and bobbly bed linens. I stayed in a twin room called ‘Sage’. All the surfaces had a layer of dust and it was full of spiders and spider webs, especially in the weird gap behind the bed. There were a set of towels on the bed that were really old and one of the flannels was stained and full of holes. The mattresses were really old and lumpy.
The bathroom was dirty and had a bad smell. All the grouting was dirty especially around the sink and the toothbrush holder was clearly still dirty from whoever had stayed previously. The shower head was broken and I had to physically hold it together to shower.
I felt uncomfortable and itchy sleeping which was topped off by something scurrying around in the ceiling most of the night.
The room was above a busy pub and again the reviews had said the food was good, however I had Fish and Chips which was really greasy. Breakfast orders were taken the night before, I ordered the yoghurt and fruit. When I came down it was already on the table with flies circling around it.

Pros:

One of the women behind the bar (sadly didn’t get her name) went over and above for us and was so welcoming we couldn’t have been more grateful. The beds were so comfy and the breakfast in the morning was amazing!

Excellent stay from arrival to departure. Don’t hesitate to book.
