Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
Pros:

The property was beautiful and accessible. The walking trails were perfect for before or after dinner walks. The rooms in the manor house were clean and so well decorated. Really gave a sense of the era.

We would stay again.
Pros:

We loved our room! The grounds were splendid and the staff were lovely.

Cons:

Fireworks that we didn't know were going to happen (a wedding) so woke us up, which left me very disorientated, as initially I didn't realise what all the 'banging' was.

Perfect luxury retreat from Dublin.
Pros:

Gorgeous facilities and grounds. Service was excellent. One of our favorite stays! Would definitely stay here again except would stay two nights and not just one!

Pros:

This lovely hotel is located about 15 minutes out of Kilkenny on a large, well-manicured estate. It also serves as a conference location. The premises are lovely, verdant, and contains lovely walking trails of various distances for exercise. The lobby is spacious with several different seating areas. The bedrooms were large and spacious with lots of closet space. The bathroom was topnotch. The breakfast had a good selection of dishes, all freshly prepared. The food was very good. We did not eat in the restaurant. The place is strongly recommended.

Pros:

The setting is lovely. Large parking area which we like. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our roo. Was beautiful, very comfortable and clean.

Cons:

The cleanliness in the restaurant was a let down we ate in the Eden restaurant for dinner and there was crumbs under our table and along the window ledge. But what we really noticed was we happened to be seated at the same table for breakfast and the crumbs were still there.
My husband got the burger for dinner and was disappointed by it.. I found my puree mash to be very soggy.
