Perfect Stay As A Local Resident. Friendly Service.
Pros:

The accommodation was excellent, the staff were very friendly and as a local resident I would highly recommend it. However, the loud sound from nearby restaurants was a significant drawback.

Pros:

Bella struttura vista mare, bella camera, bagno con box doccia separato dal resto (difficile da trovare in Sri Lanka). Colazione buona ma niente di che. Location un po’ isolata se non si considera la spiaggia di fronte, ci sono pochi ristoranti e locali in generale nei paraggi. Staff disponibile e sorridente. Aria condizionata funzionante, necessaria per L umidità che c’è ad Agosto.

La ubicación, junto a la playa, y la amabilidad de un miembro del personal.

Cons:

Hotel muy modesto.Había otra persona (un señor mayor calvo) que estaba siempre viendo cosas en el teléfono móvil y no ayudaba en nada. Desayuno muy pobre. El personal no hablaba prácticamente nada de inglés.

It was a nice and comfortable stay.
Pros:

food was tasty. But the quantity of curries were not sufficient even for two person. If add another 2 or 3 menus for breakfast that is much appreciated.
Location is very beautiful. but very noisy with the songs heard on buses parked outside.

Cons:

Even though lunch and dinner was provided on our request, the selections of menu was very low. It should be varied. But however, the food was very tasty.

Our stay at Hotel Cocos Polhena was absolutely superb from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations and it truly felt like great value for money.
The location is beautiful, especially the calm beach just nearby where we could watch turtles and even swim with them — such an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a holiday getaway.
The breakfast was also superb, fresh and delicious every morning. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and will definitely come again in the future. Highly recommended!
