Pros:

Sehr freundlicher Besitzer, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und die Zimmer waren sehr, wirklich sehr sauber.
Die Lage zur Fussgängerzone mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war für uns ideal und in der Umgebung gibt es einige sehr gute Speiselokale. Sollten wir wieder mal in der Gegend sein wissen wir bereits heute wie unser Hotel heisst - nämlich Hotel Monopol

Liebevoll restauriertes familiengeführtes Stadthotel.
Super freundlicher und schneller Kontakt über WhatsApp möglich.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sehr gut geschlafen und würden jederzeit nochmal dort wohnen wollen

Wir haben uns in diesem schönen, familiengeführten Hotel von der ersten Minute an rundum wohl und herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt, und besonders die liebevolle Bewirtung beim Frühstück ist uns positiv in Erinnerung geblieben.

Auch die Anreise wurde uns durch die ausführliche und verständliche Beschreibung sehr angenehm und unkompliziert ermöglicht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die ehrliche und transparente Kommunikation – hier weiß man wirklich, woran man ist.

Dazu kommen absolut faire Preise und eine sehr persönliche, angenehme Atmosphäre, die den Aufenthalt besonders macht.

Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely stay in Monopol, very nice and friendly
Pros:

I loved the hotel as it's an "Altbau" but renovated. The receptionist was extra friendly and helpful. As I travelled solo, I felt safe the whole time - the surroundings are nice (I saw no shady people walking around), the hotel quiet and calm. The room is very clean.

Cons:

This didn't bother me, but you'll have to walk up the stairs since there's no elevator (Altbau house).

Great hotel in a nice city
Pros:

Great location, clean, stuff is very helpful.
The hotel location-just 1 min from S1 train station gettin the Düsseldorf Central Station for 13 min.
The Hilden city center is in 10 min of walking distance, Vabali is in 35 minutes of walking through a very nice city. City itself looks very safe even walking late.
