We loved Phen Art House, would definitely come back

Красивый уютный отель, я бы даже назвала его бутик-отелем со вкусным кофе на первом этаже.
Номер очень классный, новый, в неповторимом дизайне. Хороший душ.
Рядом обалденные Бан Ми, самые вкусные, которые пробовали во Вьетнаме.
Отель находится в центре старого города. В шаговой доступности улица с поездами.
Отзывчивый добрый персонал.

Cute, comfortable and great location!
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay here, very cute and comfortable right in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, making it easy to get around. We were here for our last night and only had the one night stay which was perfect. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for two suitcases. The cafe is also lovely to sit in with lots of room and enjoy a salt coffee (our favourite). The staff here are super helpful as well and will arrange transport for you too, they got a spacious car for us to get to the airport.

Pros:

The Phen Art House is in the heart of the Old Quarter and alive with activity! The balcony we had on our room provided us with a perfect place for people watching and really immersed us in the atmosphere of Hanoi. The room was clean and well lit with a wonderful shower and our host was welcoming and thorough in his explanations. Would really recommend this place if you're staying in Hanoi

Cons:

We were the room directly above the cafe which, during closing and opening times, was quite noisy when trying to sleep and was close to street level so we'd recommend to take some ear plugs.

Eigentlich eine hervorragende Unterkunft
Pros:

Freundlicher, persönlicher Empfang durch den Inhaber. Die Lage ist absolut top im Herzen der old town. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus und auch die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet.

Cons:

Aufgrund von zwei Aussenwänden heizt sich das Zimmer relativ stark auf bei hohen Temperaturen. Dafür kann der Gastgeber selbstverständlich nichts. Bei der Ankunft war die Klimaanlage aus und es hat sehr lange gedauert, bis eine angenehme Temperatur im Zimmer vorherrschte. Um diese zu halten, musste die Klimaanlage bei min. Temperatureinstellung auf Maximalstärke laufen. Dies hat in anderen Unterkünften deutlich besser funktioniert. Deshalb gehen wir davon aus, dass die Klimaanlage nicht vollumfänglich funktionierte - hier wahrscheinlich nicht mehr ganz dicht in den Leitungen und daher keine volle Leistung. Wir sind leider sehr sensibel bei diesem Punkt und haben uns daher entschieden, unseren Aufenthalt abzubrechen und noch am selben Tag zurück in unsere vorige Unterkunft zu wechseln. Hier hatten wir ein angenehmes Raumklima. Dies mag sicher für viele Gäste keinen großen Einfluss haben. Wer jedoch auf ein kühles Zimmer wert legt, ist bei extrem heißen Tempersturen - in unserem Fall 37° - in einem größeren Hotel mit stärkerer Klimaanlage besser aufgehoben. Zu einer anderen Jahreszeit hätten wir uns hier jedoch sicher sehr wohl gefühlt!
Leider wurde beim Kauf von Getränken im Haus auch nicht der angebotene Rabatt vom Mitarbeiter verrechnet (ist mir erst später aufgefallen) bei der Ankunft vom Inhaber jedoch schon. Dieser bot uns bei unserer aprupten Abreise (via Telefon, da nicht persönlich vor Ort) auch an, am nächsten Tag kostenlos bei ihm Getränke zu erhalten, eine Teilerstattung wurde uns jedoch nicht angeboten. Dies wäre eine nette Geste gewesen, zugleich allerdings auch nachvollziehbar, dass dies nicht erfolgte. Leider haben wir aufgrund der kurzfristigen Umdisposition erst etwas zu spät über booking.com erfahren, dass wir eine Erstattung i. H. v. 50% erhalten hätten können.
