BEATRIX HOTEL

Bed lining and curtains were stained.
There wasn't even any toothbrush and toothpaste provided.Reception was really bad there.Worst of all,the TV went on and then silent by itself throughout the whole time!
Heard two different patrons at a different timing asking for the price of the room per day for two and the Indian lady told them it was RM150 when it was stated on the paper given to me as RM110.
Had a strong feeling that the people manning the hotel were out to make their own side income!
Wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

Unfortunately, whilst the room itself is clean but the room is filled with mould in the walls - from afar it looks like just scuffs but upclose you see the mould has completely filled the room with spores. It suffocates you by simply being in there. The bed was also quite itchy just from resting on it.

It has a small extractor fan and a ceiling fan. No AC in the room at all.

I tried telling the receptionist - assuming it was a room issue but he admitted as it is a non-window room all the other non-windowed rooms have the same issue (I also realised they could not understand the english or malay words for mould or they just don't see it as an issue).

I do not know about you but staying in a mouldy room is really dangerous. For those with asthma or any kind of skin ailments it will definitely flare up and we had to simply check out before even spending a few hours in the room.

Of course, we did not get a refund which is expected but the fact they did not try to fix the situation just shows how little they care for their guests.

We paid 110 RM for this room on a Mid-week non-holiday booking. Whilst it seemed cheapest on booking.com. Please be advised there are literally dozens of hotels in brinchang you will get for a similar price if you just walk in. We got a hotel nearby (Seven Days Hotel) for 130 rm but it was much cleaner and had no mould (and was also windowless lol).


Also be advised all hotels here charge a 50 rm cash only deposit and a 3 rm state tax per night. There are 2 banks with atms in the Centrum Plaza so no issue with withdrawing cash nearby and their atms have no fees.

Free parking is also impossible for any of the hotels in this Centrum Plaza. Each shop and hotel has reserved 2/3 spots and its a miracle if you get one.

There is a basement parking in 2 areas of this mall and it is paid but we think it is 10rm or maybe 25rm per day for the parking.

Tak suka sbb tak strolley / wheelchair friendly. Plus, the staff dia should inform mcm mana nak pergi ke hotel tu from basement parking. Kteorg tercari-cari sbb dia tak ada lift direct from basement parking. And should advise juga la. Contoh “encik nak senang, encik drop off barang dulu. Sbb dari basement tk ada direct lift ke bilik.” Kteorg dgn anak kecik lagi, tolak strolley smua.
