Cons:

Fridge stunk and not usable. Very noisy and people doing burn outs in the carpark both nights

We wanted a Waipukurau base. At night it was impossible to sleep until 1a.m with the amount of noise
Pros:

Conenience to various places in town. Beds and Bathroom were clean.

Cons:

After 8 pm it felt like we were in the middle of the beer garden. Loud, swearing, door slamming until 1 a.m.. Bar toilets were inside guest hallway and door between bar garden access was constantly slamming combined with bar clientele running up and down hallway screaming and laughing.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Comfortable, clean and close to town

Cons:

Young girls yelling and knocking on our door after the pub closed. Glad the owner came and shut them up.

Close to town, comfortable and the cleaning lady was lovely

Cons:

We knew it was a pub and didnt mind a bit of noise.But there were Noisy girls staying further down the corridor knocking on our door late at night. Good on the publication coming to sort them out after I called him.

Good, but not for a weekend
Pros:

The room was good for a 1 night stay, in a convinient location close to shops and such.

Cons:

Do not book on a saturday night. There were people from the pub its attached to being incredibly loud (though about 15m away through 2 double doors), which is understandable for a hotel attached to the pub. However what was not approptiate were pub patrons trying to get into rooms, knocking on doors, jiggling locks and screaming profanities. Im sure on any other night it'd be better, but dont book on a saturday night.

Clean and functional could be improved
Pros:

Room clean, good water pressure in the shower

Cons:

Proximity to the public bar which is quite loud, popular and shuts at midnight, public car park and the accommodation wing can easily be accessed by the general public (suggest they put a combo lock in the hallway)
