Staff is abit cold. They charge 10% service fee for dinner but had the poorest experience for our 2 weeks holiday in Scotland

Lovely old inn with a history. Staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.
Excellent meal in the restaurant and the breakfast was generous and tasty.
The view was stunning.
The room was very small compared to other places we stopped at. The furniture had not been moved and cleaned behind for a while. The toilet brush was disgusting. The evening meal was nice but we thought overpriced. They didn't have diet cola or the chicken burger I wanted from the menu. Overall we were quite disappointed.

The food in the hotel exceeded expectations. Despite the dates decor they do have a good kitchen.
Rooms are more motel around the back. Comfy enough but needs a revamp.

This place is unique. In the middle of no-where offering a comfy bed and a surprisingly excellent menu. An efficient welcome. East parking and a basic but clean room.
