I stayed at Ayatara Resort Ubud for three days after a business trip in the APAC region, looking for a few days to relax before returning home, and it exceeded every expectation.
The resort is beautifully immersed in the Balinese jungle, offering an incredible sense of peace and tranquillity while maintaining the highest standards of elegance and comfort. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying an early morning swim in the infinity pool in complete silence became the highlight of every day.
My upper-floor villa, although without a private pool, was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and featured a lovely balcony overlooking the jungle. Every detail reflected quality and attention to detail.
Jivara Restaurant was excellent throughout my stay. Breakfast combines a generous buffet with freshly prepared dishes and fresh juices, while lunch and dinner feature refined Indonesian cuisine alongside delicious international options. The cocktail selection is outstanding—don't miss the Ayatara Negroni!
The greatest asset of this resort is undoubtedly its staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely caring. From the warm welcome and complimentary drink to the unexpected early check-in, every gesture made me feel valued. What impressed me most was that everyone remembered my name, creating a truly personal experience. Despite being surrounded by lush jungle, the resort is impeccably maintained, allowing guests to relax and enjoy nature in complete comfort.

The location is a little bit far from the center. However, they offered shuttle buses to the center for free.

*Villa avec piscine privée très spacieuse, idéale pour un séjour reposant.
*Personnel exceptionnel : toujours souriant, accueillant, disponible et attentif.
*Restaurant du Resort proposant des plats de très bonne qualité, bien préparés et savoureux.
*Le Resort est situé à environ 1h15 du centre d'Ubud. Il est donc préférable de prévoir un chauffeur privé ou un budget pour les taxis si vous souhaitez visiter la région.
*Les prix du restaurant sont nettement plus élevés qu'à Ubud (environ le double), même si la qualité est au rendez-vous.
*Notre villa était située au fond de la vallée. L'ensoleillement y est limité et le taux d'humidité est élevé, ce qui peut être un point à prendre en compte.
*Le ménage de la chambre n'était pas toujours à la hauteur d'un établissement de ce standing. Nous avons dû demander à deux reprises que certains éléments soient refaits, notamment le remplacement des peignoirs et de la literie.

Außerordentlich schöne und luxuriöse Anlage.
Der Blick vom Infinity Pool auf den Regenwald ist unbezahlbar. Auch die Qualität des Essens top. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend, und täglich bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Komme sehr gerne wieder!
Es gab in den ganzen 12 Tagen nicht wirklich etwas auszusetzen.
What a incredible experience. The place is so lovely and comfortable. The staff are amazing and so helpful! Anyone going on a honeymoon or just to relax must stay here. I even canceled my other reservation at other hotels to stay here longer.
