Our room was excellent: large, comfortable and with a balcony overlooking the lake. The views were genuinely special and one of the highlights of our stay.
The location and design of the property create a calm, tranquil atmosphere that feels a world away from the bustle of the city. Even the room itself always smelt wonderful and fragrant, which added to the sense of relaxation.
Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. The buffet wasn't huge, but the Indian options were consistently delicious and set us up perfectly for a day of exploring.
Overall, the room, views, breakfasts and peaceful setting all exceeded my expectations and made for a very enjoyable stay.
The biggest disappointment was the pool. It isn't really an infinity pool as advertised, and during our stay it felt grubby and poorly maintained. It seemed to get far more use as a backdrop for photographs than as somewhere guests would actually want to spend time.
The arrival experience also felt at odds with the boutique image the hotel is aiming for. Although the welcome was friendly, it quickly turned into a lengthy process of administration, rules and warnings about what guests could and couldn't do. Boutique hospitality should feel effortless, and this didn't.
That slightly over-managed feeling continued throughout our stay. We received daily WhatsApp messages about room cleaning, often early in the morning, along with reminders about checkout and other housekeeping matters. None of these messages were unreasonable in themselves, but they detracted slightly from the relaxed atmosphere the property otherwise creates.
The reception staff, while undoubtedly well intentioned, could sometimes be a little too eager to please. In contrast, the restaurant and housekeeping teams struck exactly the right balance: friendly, professional and attentive without being overbearing. On departure I was asked repeatedly to leave a review, and one member of staff handed me his name and asked me to mention him specifically.
Future guests should also be aware that the final cost may be higher than the rate initially advertised on Booking.com, as additional charges are added at the property. While not uncommon, it is worth factoring into any price comparison.

We were luckily upgraded to a suite with a lake view on arrival. Fabulous location, friendly staff, comfy bed, spacious room, lovely balcony. Lots of personal touches to make the stay special.
Difficult to get temperature right in the shower.
A beautiful property with a very clean and well-maintained pool. The staff was incredible—friendly, attentive, and made our stay truly comfortable. Highly recommended!

Das Hotel lag mitten in der Altstadt und hatte einen Pool. Zimmergröße war gut,. Personal war sehr freundlich und Frühstück okay.
Falls etwas nicht vorhanden war, wurde sofort gehandelt.
Der Pool war schön, aber ich fand es nicht gut, dass man hat die Gäste direkt am Beckenrand essen lassen und nicht am Tisch. Etwas ekelig.
Es hätten ein paar Kleiderhaken mehr im Zimmer sein können.
Taxi konnte nicht direkt vor den Haupteingang fahren. Die letzten 50 m muss man zu Fuss gehen, aber das fand ich nicht schlimm.
Incredible location, in a calm spot right on the lake. Basically a little oasis. The presidential suite was incredible and well worth the money - it was even better than the photos. The staff were incredible and made us feel so special throughout - extra touches like setting up a super romantic dinner for us on the terrace overlooking the lake, running amazing baths with rose petals, a cake for our anniversary, a complimentary foot massage. They went above and beyond. Everything in Udaipur was within walking distance which was perfect.
Could do with a couple more sun beds by the pool.

Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss hat mir nicht gefallen. Tag und Nacht ein nerviges Geräusch, das wohl nicht abgestellt werden konnte. Die Polstermöbel fleckig und ungepflegt.

This property doesn't have parking lot and is within a conjusted lane. Also the food was average.
Wonderful staff, location and facilities. Kanishka and the other front desk staff made it a joy not only to stay but to return twice during my trip. Couldn’t stay away! :D Also the restaurant was a very important part of this vacation for me. Excellent.
