一間坑人的酒店
烏蘭巴托給我們的印象是雖没有繁囂的喧鬧，没有暢順的網絡，但有坑人之道，就如路上常嗅到的汽車廢氣，令人不爽。
我們今次住同一酒店共五晚六天，一直都没什麽大問題，就算服務員下午四點半後仍未執拾房間，我們也只是叫前台催促一下。
可是最後一天中了伏，我們早上退房，寄存了行李，酒店員工巡查過没事，我們便離店往外走走。下午回來取行李往機場時，前台換上了另一个值班的服務員，她却不給回行李，説我們弄壞了房間的窗，必須賠償。天啊，我們入住期間一直没有開過窗（因為房間對着别人的窗，窗簾也没開過），怎會有弄壞的可能！爭論了十多分鐘，她帶我們上房查看，關窗的把手齊口斷了，但我們房間每天都關上窗簾，完全不知這把手是怎麽斷的！我們已是70歲老人，也没這大氣力，把半吋的鋼鐵弄斷，而且切口平滑！她不理我們解釋，硬要我們交賠償金才給回行李。眼見時間一分分的過去，也夠鐘出機場了，唯有破財擋災，給了當地貨幣七萬五千（約港幣二百多）賠償金後，取回行李馬上乘車趕往機場。
今次見識了酒店坑人又一新招，原來門窗也有乾坤！扣押行李進行勒索！烏蘭巴托本來空氣很舒爽的，但這經歷真的不快。

A fraudulent hotel
Ulaanbaatar left us with a mixed impression. Though free from bustling crowds and constant noise, and plagued by spotty internet service, it also has its unfair pitfalls—much like the pervasive vehicle exhaust fumes lingering on the streets that put us in a foul mood.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights over six days, and everything went smoothly for the most part. Even when the housekeeping staff failed to clean our room by 4:30 p.m., we simply asked the front desk to send a reminder. Yet we fell victim to a nasty scam on our final day. We checked out in the morning and left our luggage for storage; hotel staff inspected the room and confirmed there were no issues before we headed out sightseeing. When we returned that afternoon to collect our bags and head to the airport, a different clerk was on duty at reception. She refused to hand over our luggage, claiming we had broken the room window and demanded compensation.

Good heavens! We never once opened the window during our entire stay—the window faced directly into another room’s window, and we kept the curtains drawn shut the whole time. There was no way we could have damaged it. We argued with her for more than ten minutes, after which she escorted us up to the room to examine the damage. The metal window crank had snapped clean off at its base. We kept the curtains closed every single day and had no idea how this breakage occurred at all.

Personal unfreundlich und unkooperativ, Frühstück unterirdisch, Dauerdiskussion was im Preis inkludiert ist, weil einfach zusätzlich berechnet werden sollte. Fön kaputt, Tapete fällt von den Wänden.

Die Kommunikation mit der Rezeption war schwierig: sowohl wegen unzureichender Sprachkenntnisse als auch offenbar ganz unterschiedlicher Vorstellungen von Service (Zimmerwechsel, Taxibestellung, ...).
Die Ausstattung ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt nicht sehr gepflegt, teilweise löst sich die Tapete von den Wänden. Die Lobby ist ungemütlich, und die Bar hat nur am morgens und am Nachmittag geöffnet. Ein Restaurant gab es nicht (über das Frühstücksangebot hinaus), ebenso einige andere Dinge in der Beschreibung des Hotels.
Das Frühstück für $ 11 ist im Vergleich zum Zimmerpreis und den Preisen vor Ort recht teuer und das Geld nicht wert.
Der in der Buchungsbestätigung angegebene Preis in US$ wurde zu einem schlechten Kurs in Mongolische Tugrik umgerechnet (hier war ich nicht aufmerksam genug).
Gegenüber wurde ein Haus abgerissen, was teilweise bis Mitternacht zu hören war. Vermutlich wird dort demnächst gebaut, was zu weiterem Lärm führen wird.

Very bad receptionist and not cooperating with customers

L'hotel avrebbe bisogno in un rinnovamento generale. Le camere, pur essendo spaziose, trasmettono una sensazione di "vecchio". La pulizia della camera è stata fatta in modo un po' troppo approssimativo, soprattutto nel bagno. La cosa che mi ha disturbato di più è stata la colazione: assolutamente inadeguata come varietà, quantità e qualità e molto cara rispetto agli standard. Inoltre, pur avendo prenotato la camera con colazione, a una collega non è stata riconosciuta questa opzione al momento del check-in.

昼間戻った時に停電で、少し困った。街全体が停電していたわけではないので、この建物での問題だと思うが、どれくらいの頻度で起きるのかは不明。

El wifi no funciona bien. Se iba la luz todos los días unas horas. Las habitaciones tienen moqueta, y huele un poco rara.

Scarsa pulizia, la doccia non era pulita e il bagno aveva peli per terra che non sono stati rimossi per tutto il soggiorno. Colazione a 15€ ma scarsa, poca scelta e prodotti confezionati. Struttura vecchia, alcune camere hanno odore di fumo.

There were electricity outage issues with which internet goes away. Once the whole day electriicty was not there and I had to go out to recharge my phone to a coffee shop. They should keep the generator backup.

The bed was clean but worn out ,lost its firmness. Later I found that another hotel with the same old beds , yet more expensive . Vanity sink was slow unless you want to dip your hand in dirty water to adjust the plug
