I loved the infinity pool and the quite room facing the mountian -( views of pine trees- very quite). The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also enjoy the breakfast they had on offer with great range to choose from. The views from the dining area were magical and even taking photos doesnt do it justice. I also liked that we were 15 minutes away from Ortisei - as Ortsei was extremly busy, especially due to having the lift to get to Seceda.
No airconditiong, so it was a stuffy and hot in our room the first night and we didn't get a great nights sleep. The second night they brought a fan which helped.
We also booked our accommodation originally from 4- 6 Aug on booking.com but then messaged them that our plans changed and booked it from 3- 5 Aug. They didn't get the update, so had no room ready for us when we arrived, after some time they got it sorted. They were very helpful in trying to fix the problem, but it was a mistake that could have been avoided.
Also I had trouble accessing my room on the second day, so I went down to reception to have it sorted. I was up an down the elevator 4 times before we could get access to our room. The lady at reception was very helpful, but it did get a bit frustrating going up and down so many times.
I believe the hotel must have fairly recently added an amazing rooftop pool and spa. This was a highlight of the hotel. The views from the pool were spectacular and it was a great way to end each day looking out over the mountains. The rooms we had were lovely and spacious and modern. The location next to the Dantercepies cable car was great for accessing the via ferrattas first thing - you could roll out of bed and get the first cable car up the mountain. Breakfast was good - varied and you could even make your own juice with fruit and vegetables on offer.
I hadn't realised there would be no room service. When the hotel is quite a hike up the hill from the centre (where all the restaurants are) we would have liked to be able to just chill in our room one evening - but this was never possible. Some areas of the hotel were not included in the refurbishment so if feels like a hotel of two halves - the new and the old (and the old is very dated and not reflective of the high price we paid). The bar in particular is very depressing.
At breakfast we were allocated a table in a small room off from the main breakfast area - we wouldn't have chosen this table as it doesn't have the best view - and we were stuck there all week each breakfast. I would like to chose my table:)
We booked the whole board plan with breakfast and dinner and the food was excellent! It was such a treat to not have to pick additional restaurants for this part of our stay. The pastry chef was phenomenal!
Having air conditioning or fans in the rooms is the only thing I could possibly say. It was very warm in July and some help cooling down the room would have been great.

Food Was Very Disappointing
We stayed here for two nights about two years ago, and the food was outstanding—an easy 5-star experience. We enjoyed it so much that we recommended the hotel to many of our friends and decided to return for our anniversary, booking a five-night stay.
When we arrived, we were so excited. To make the occasion even more special, we were placed in a newly renovated room and told we had been upgraded. We were thrilled and assumed it was a thoughtful anniversary gesture. Unfortunately, that excitement was short-lived. Approximately 30 minutes later, a manager came to our room, explained that we had been assigned the wrong room, and moved us to an older, non-renovated room. Mistakes happen, but the situation was handled without an apology or any expression of regret, which left us feeling disappointed.
It was also disappointing that our anniversary wasn't acknowledged in any way. While we certainly weren't expecting anything extravagant, most upscale hotels recognize special occasions with a small gesture—a handwritten note, or a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Those thoughtful touches make guests feel valued and create lasting memories. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment at all, which was surprising given the level of the hotel.
The biggest letdown, however, was the dinner. The quality was nowhere near what we experienced during our previous stay, and the exceptional food was the primary reason we chose to return. We were also surprised to be charged for tap water at dinner, even though tap water was complimentary in our room and available free from the outdoor fountain. On a positive note, the waitstaff and breakfast buffet were excellent.
The pool and spa area was very nice, but it offered only about a dozen lounge chairs, and the hours were limited. On two separate occasions, we had to leave because there was nowhere to sit after swimming.

The room was lovely, staff super friendly and attentive and the food (half board) was exceptional. The pool and spa was also amazing at the end of each day.
A little more control over the room temperature. Was a bit warm.
