I had an amazing stay at Athenian Retreat Penthouses. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Athens, close to everything, while still feeling safe and comfortable. The area never felt shady, even at night, which made the whole experience even better.
The apartment itself was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a great stay. A special thanks to Falia, who went above and beyond to make sure my stay would be amazing. Her kindness, availability, and attention to detail truly made a difference.
The only downside for me was finding out after booking that it’s a non-smoking hotel, but aside from that, everything was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Athens!

Per chi desidera trascorrere qualche giorno in vacanza ad Atene, consiglio assolutamente questo appartamento.
È pulitissimo e dotato di ogni comfort (microonde, ferro da stiro, phon, frigo con all’interno 1 bottiglia d’acqua ecc.).
La proprietaria è gentilissima e super disponibile: ci ha risposto immediatamente anche a tarda sera quando avevamo bisogno di informazioni. Inoltre, è stata molto cortese nel permetterci di lasciare le valigie all’interno dell’appartamento il giorno della partenza, così da poterle riprendere prima di andare in aeroporto.
Posizione centralissima , ad 1 minutl dalla metro e a 3 minuti dalla piazza di Monastiraki. Vicino ci sono tantissimi locali .

The room is big and equipped with everything is needed.
The owner is lovely and allowed me a late check out without extra charges.

Comfortable bed and pillows, not too soft, just my preference. Clean linens, new and shiny. Towels new, clean, very good quality. Superb central location. We loved it. Furthermore, communication was fast and flawless.

Excellent stay – highly recommended!
We stayed at this property for 5 days and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The room was spacious and very clean. The location is excellent, very close to Monastiraki Metro Station, with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The neighborhood also felt very safe. Highly recommended!
È stato tutto perfetto. L’accoglienza da parte di Falia è stata splendida, non ci ha fatto mancare nulla e ci ha fatto sempre sentire la sua “vicinanza” nonostante non ci sia stato bisogno di nulla. La struttura si trova in una posizione ottima per visitare Atene a piedi. Il quartiere è molto vivace e autentico, ma noi ci siamo sempre sentiti molto tranquilli e, anzi, abbiamo apprezzato molto l’autenticità della zona. Inoltre, ci sono molti bar e ristoranti molto frequentati, per cui ci sono sempre persone per strada. L’appartamento si presenta come nelle foto, pulito, spazioso e dotato di tutto il necessario. Difficile trovare di meglio!
