Amphitheatro Boutique Hotel

The bar/restaurant at the beach was not open for lunch.

Φτάσαμε και δεν υπήρχε ρεσεψιόν . Ψάχναμε να βρούμε κάποιον ώστε να μας δώσει τα κλειδιά . Με τη βοήθεια μιας πελάτισσας που καθόταν στη πισίνα βρήκαμε τη καμαριέρα η οποία μας έδωσε τα κλειδιά . Μίλαγε μόνο αγγλικά .
Ζητήσαμε παρκοκρεβατο για το μωρό αλλά ήταν τόσο μικρό το δωμάτιο που θα έπρεπε να το κλείνουμε για να περνάμε όποτε δεν το χρησιμοποιήσαμε καθόλου .
Η καντίνα που είναι πιο κάτω από το ξενοδοχείο είναι κλειστή τις μεσημεριανές ώρες πράγμα που δεν το ξέραμε οπότε ψάχναμε κάπου να πάμε για φαγητό .
Το πρωινό είχε πολύ λίγες επιλογές . Η κοπέλα που μας σέρβιρε στο πρωινό επίσης μας μιλάμε μόνο αγγλικά . Την τελευταία μέρα ζητήσαμε 2 καφέδες ώστε να τους πάρουμε μαζί στο ταξίδι σε πλαστικό και μας του έφεραν χωρίς καπάκι πράγμα που αυτό δεν βόλευε … γιατί όπως μας είπαν είχαν ξεμείνει από καπάκια .
Κάποια απογεύματα επιλέξαμε να μείνουμε στην παραλία κάτω από το ξενοδοχείο ώστε να απολαύσουμε τη θάλασσα και να φάμε . Είχε πολύ λίγες επιλογές φαγητού . Όταν ζητήσαμε pizza καθώς είδαμε στο κατάλογο ότι υπήρχε μας είπαν πως δεν έχουν γιατί δε λειτουργεί ο φούρνος τους .
Θα ήταν καλύτερα να μην εχουν καθόλου πρωινό και λίγο πιο χαμηλή τιμή παρά να έχουν τόσο υψηλή τιμή και να προσφέρουν πρωινό με τόσες λίγες επιλογές .
Επίσης θα ήταν καλύτερα να μην υπήρχε η καντίνα ή αν υπήρχε να ήταν σωστά οργανωμένη γιατί πιστεύω μας κατέβασε την εμπειρία μας στο συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα .

Sadly the hotel is more style over substance. And it’s not really a hotel, more a small apartment with a shared pool. There are no facilities or reception so it’s very quiet, which is probably great if you’re looking for total quiet and a peaceful retreat. But for us as a small family, it felt like we were too noisy all the time so we went out for the day.

The shared seating area near the pool is nice but the sun loungers are very very uncomfortable and are also low down underneath the pool so you only have a view of the wall. The two sun loungers on the pool terrace are only for guests in the ground floor room. Our balcony and view was stunning, but again we couldn’t sit on the chairs because they were too uncomfortable.

They seem to contract out breakfast to a third party. Well that can be the only reason why a request for tea rather than coffee with breakfast “is an extra charge”. Note that the room has plentiful teabags on offer, as well as a coffee machine, so we were surprised at receiving this breakfast tea denial!!

We had issues with aircon in both rooms, one was smelly and one just didn’t get cool enough. There isn’t a manager about the place just ad hoc staff so you felt more like you were self catering than that full hotel experience. The breakfast was ok but became very repetitive after a couple of days.

Het was geen probleem maar goed om te weten dat het (snack)barretje bij de zee tussen 12:00 en 17:00 dicht gaat. Een airco in één van onze kamers gaf een beetje een muffe geur af.
