Restaurant is very old and Breakfast is bad the street food is better or Local guest is better than the one we receive at this Hotel, also property is poorly managed with someone who is not serious now , before the former manager was better and careful but the current one is serious sick and Bad not investing and lower the standard of this brand by making restaurant and Bar very Local and Poor , qualify food not Good , he's not taking this business serious
The property is truly exceptional, lush green and facing the Indian ocean. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Dar. Also Micah and Mwana (at the reception) and Idrissa (at the restaurant) were cordial, friendly and extremely helpful with directions and recommendations. One of the best properties I've visited so far.
By no fault of its own, it is a little far from the city as well as from the airport.
Secluded and near the beach
The bar and restaurant area was beautiful. The lighting was also beautiful. Exceptionally beautiful in the evening
The rooms were not so comfortable
Die Zimmer sind großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Klimaanlage ist flüsterleise und hat gute Arbeit geleistet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgiebig. Jeder sollte etwas nach seinem Geschmack finden.
Sehr schön ist der Blick aufs Meer beim Frühstück. Da kann der Tag gut starten.
Der Pool ist klein, aber sehr sauber.
Was uns massiv gestört hat, waren die Tagesgäste, die den Pool gegen Gebühr mitbenutzen können. Dadurch hat man wirklich keinerlei Ruhe. Die Terrasse um den Pool herum eignet sich durch die vielen Leute, die durch das Grundstück zum Restaurant laufen auch absolut nicht zum relaxen.
Sowohl Restaurant als auch die Poolanlage sind zum Meer ausgerichtet und befinden sich hinter einer hohen Glasscheibe - ich verstehe den Windschutz - aber es kommt so keinerlei Urlaubsfeeling auf!
Die Zimmer sind in Reihe in einem U gebaut. Es weht daher auf den Terrassen kein Lüftchen und dank der vielen Moskitos die wegen der Windstille dort verweilen, kann man die Terrassen eigentlich nicht nutzen. Es fehlt auch jeglicher Sichtschutz zum Nachbarn. Schade!
The receptionists are very gracious and lucky enough that they have Filipina staff. The room are clean and tidy with big size bed.
The restaurant with sea views was very nice and it was on a quiet bit of beach. The room was very comfortable and clean and made for a quiet stay also. Beautiful hotel grounds with lots of greenery. Nice pool area with loungers.
Unfortunately they were building a rooftop extension to the restaurant when I was there (8/9th July 2026) which meant there was a guy hammering from 10am til 5pm right by the poolside which made it less relaxing. Couldn't hear it from my room but could by the pool and in the bar area. Unfortunately not even headphones could drown it out. Perhaps best to ask if building work is still going on if booking. A shame as otherwise a beautiful place to stay!
Beautiful place. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms comfortable and spotless. Free water every day. Delicious food and cocktails. Great massage. Amazing pool and very clean. Beautiful views across the sea from hotel. Sea swimming good. Staff went out if their way to help with any requests. So relaxing and a real treat. Thanks so much
