Excellent & value for money stay at Pondicherry
Pros:

The hotel's location is excellent. The staff were helpful and kind. Completely flattered by the humble behaviour of the owner. Since my husband is dairy allergic,they offered home cooked breakfast which was one of the best foods we had in Pondicherry. Beautiful decor and comfortable.

Great stay
Pros:

Nice hotel in the heart of White city but on a quiet street. The hosts are amazing, fair and so helpful. The room was clean and all worked well. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around.

Average stay at a very expensive property
Pros:

The location of the property is great. Properly in White town, walking distance from Promenade beach and cafés.
Could see only 2 staff members running the show but with a big smile and enthusiasm.

Cons:

A place where there is no one at the reception, there isn’t a proper reception first of all.
They don’t have a restaurant, they source the breakfast from a third party, should put this upfront so that no one unnecessarily book a room with breakfast which is same everyday.
Way too overpriced. No amenities to compliment the amount at all. Better to explore other options around, hire autos, bikes when needed and save on money.
Except the location, there is nothing more to offer.
