Very helpful staff, good price, nice location far from loud town
We really loved our stay here! Canh and his mother are such kind people! After I booked the room, Canh instantly sent me a message to help go to his home! He is a very available and accommodating person. He kindly offered to lend us his motorcycle two evenings in a row so that we could go out into town. The place is well located, not in the noisy Cat Ba town but close enough. The view from the balcony is also stunning! Rooms are spacious, beds could be a bit hard but were surprisingly comfy. Maybe a little bedside lamp could be a great addition. The homestay has a ping pong table, a pool, a dart game, you can also use the bicycle for free! The swimming pool is really great and you can even sometimes hear the monkeys! Breakfast was good! In short terms, wonderful place, I recommend it!

Hi... from walking up the drive way and meeting the boss Dave and his mum and brother.. wow what a beautiful family run business 👏 buy the end of the week it was like walking in to my mum's home so careing and thought full 😉 any thing you needed Dave would do his best to sort it out and make shaw your stay was as special as it could be 😀 great price. Pool table. Ping pong table. 18 rooms to sleep a big family or a over sized foot ball team lol or even host a wedding 🤔..2km away from busy cat ba city with endless choice of restaurants in the area 🤣 nice little bar for afternoon drinks and the best thing of all was the out standing pool area with a safe place for the young kids to have a swim and many spots to soak up the sun!! 😀 give it a go if you fancy a good place to relax 😌 send my best to Dave and family 😉

Super friendly and supportive owner. Helped us to arrange transportation, food and everything we asked for!!! Huge terrace with a picturesque view! Spacious swimming pool!!! Definitely will visit again.
One of our best stays in Asia after 8 months travelling. Very clean. Lovely Man running it, very kind and helpful. Let us check in early after night bus. Beautiful pool. Spacious room. 10/10 recommend. Excellent value for money.

Vue pas agréable. Le propriétaire nous a loué 2 chambres alors que les 2 chambres étaient pour 4 personnes chacunes. Salle de bain pas agréable.Opacités des fenêtres ( film collé). Petit déjeuner catastrophique : pot de confiture d'un litre presque vide et qui n'a jamais vu le frigo, pareille pour la margarine. Inmangeable.

Windy, es un anfitrión increíble, te alquila moto, tienes tours, y te ayuda o sfrece si ayuda en todo lo que está en su mano. Las habitaciones son grandes y muy limpias al igual que las instalaciones en general. Desayuno rico y un precion en general asequible y estupendo por el servicio rebicido.
Lugar ideal para alojarte en Cat Ba, acertarás seguro con este alojamiento.

The staff was very friendly and easy to communicate over WhatsApp. We enjoyed the quiet location and the view into the garden and the pool was good. Mopeds and bycicles are for rent, easy to explore the Island like that. They organised a taxi for us to get to our cruise pickup in departure that was nice.
The wifi was a little unstable at times and the breakfast could have been more fresh. In the evenings you some nights could hear loud music from the hostel next door but overall very quiet location. The rooms smelled a little bit, more windows in the bungalows would be good.
Beautiful pool and large beds for a great price. Lots of amenities included.

L'ensemble est passable. Le propriétaire essaie de montrer sa disponibilité. Piscine passable mais pas propre au fond. Belle terrasse devant les chambres au deuxième étage mais la vue n'est vraiment pas belle.Ma cote est sévère mais le but est de diminuer la côte globale de " l'hôtel ' qui est largement surcoté.
Le propriétaire nous a loué 2 chambres alors que les 2 chambres étaient pour 4 personnes (2 x chambre familiale comme montré sur les photos) .1 chambre aurait suffit. Chambre vétuste sans rideau mais avec film collant laissant passer la lumière. Aucune vue de la fenêtre et lumière dès le lever du jour.
Petit déjeuner en dessous de tout. Pas de beurre mais un pot de margarine de 800g moitié vide ouvert depuis dès mois et qui n'a jamais vu le frigo. Pas de confitures proposées, après demande,on nous donne un pot d'1 litre de confitures où il ne restait que le fond. Comme la margarine,il n'a jamais vu le frigo... immangeable. Voir les photos...et cuillères pas propres Salle de fitnes annoncée inexistante.
Can at the front desk was amazing!!! He was always checking in with us, helped arrange motorcycles and taxis and wanted us to have the best possible stay. The service couldn't have been better. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The pool and shared communal areas were welcoming with a pool table and comfy balcony chairs. We also liked the location which was outside of the main Cat Ba town (where there is lots of construction)
We did find that the bathrooms and towels were not super clean. Having the shower and toilet combined means that the bathroom gets wet and can appear dirty. Can't really be helped but something to keep in mind for booking. Also the area is nice however you need motorcycles or a car to get into main town and around the island.
Large room with 2 double beds was clean and comfortable. The pool was a real bonus as the weather was very hot. The staff were great and helped with everything we needed. Breakfast was a small buffet which was fine. Good fruit choices. We liked the location away from the main town but others might not.
The loud music from another hotel nearby was a slight pain, but always stopped early enough

Hôtel loin du centre, et donc du tumulte de la ville. Avec un beau panorama au bord de la piscine. Petit déjeuner généreux. Patron serviable, a l'écoute, très sympa. Chambres propres.
