Great location but not clean

Great location — absolutely perfect. The host was friendly and polite.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment was below expectations. The floors were quite dirty — after walking barefoot, my feet became black. The headboard of the bed was covered in a noticeable layer of dust, which even triggered an allergic reaction for me.

The balcony was also not properly cleaned — the table had not been wiped, which made it unpleasant to use.

Additionally, there seemed to be an issue with the hot water system, possibly gas-based. There was a strong smell of gas both on the balcony and inside the apartment when the hot water was turned on, which was concerning.

The apartment was in the most central area of Reggio, 1min walk from the main street and shops. The area felt safe. Moreover, the room was spacious and comfortable for 2 people, while all of the areas were clean.
The room had air condition, which worked perfectly and it is necessary for spending a few days in Reggio in summer.
Definitely value for money. Definitely recommend.
