Highly recommend Rumipaxi Lodge
Pros:

Location magical view of Cotopaxi.
Hostesses were gracious and helpful.
Fantastic guide for the day. Delicious breakfast, cozy fireplace, spacious lodge, very comfortable beds. Lodge staff picked us up at bus drop off.

Pros:

A pesar de las obras de renovación, nos recibieron muy bien. El alojamiento está en una muy buena ubicación, cerca del volcán Cotopaxi. En el patio, las llamas salen a recibirte. El personal es muy amable y servicial. El desayuno es muy abundante y variado. Una pena que solo pudiéramos quedarnos un día. Nos habría encantado prolongar nuestra estancia si hubiéramos tenido tiempo. Sin duda, un lugar que merece mucho la pena visitar.

A home away from home!
Pros:

The property is homely, comfy and very clean. The fire place was lovely to sit at and read! I found the room and bed very comfortable, just the right amount of blankets to keep warm. The shower had good pressure and heat.

They have a driver Nicholas who can help you with getting to Cotopaxi National Park - he is very kind. The family that run the lodge are very friendly and kind, they will go above and beyond to make you comfortable and happy to help in anyway they can.

The food is the best I’ve had all trip (I’ve been travelling for 2.5 months) the portion sizes are very generous and just delicious.

I’d highly recommend staying here if you like things a little quieter and want to feel like you’re at home while away. Cotopaxi National Park is very accessible and why I chose the property. I wasn’t expecting the level of hospitality and comfort!

לודג׳ משפחתי קטן ונחמד ממש בפתח של שמורת הקוטופקסי. סוניה יודעת אנגלית ועוזרת בכל דבר ואמא שלה מכינה אוכל נהדר עם גלידה תוצרת בית לקינוח. תמורה מעולה למחיר. הם גם סידרו לנו את ניקולאי שהיה מדריך נהדר עם טנדר 4/4 ליום בשמורה כולל טיפוס להר והסברים על כל דבר

המתקנים פועלים היטב והחדר קצת קטן. זה לודג׳ תיירותי ברמה של 4 עיגולים ולא מלון 4 כוכבים. פשוט ליישר ציפיות ואז המקום מקסים.

Pros:

Paolina è una padrona di casa fantastica ci ha accolti e spiegato tutto sul luogo in cui eravamo, ci ha presentato una guida che ci ha accompagnato nel l’escursione il giorno dopo. La struttura è bellissima e la colazione preparata dalla mamma di Paolina è fantastica!!!

Cons:

Il bagno è piccolissimo e l’acqua della doccia era calda e non davvero bollente (faceva molto freddo fuori quindi la doccia serale doveva essere bollente). Magari qualche punto di appoggio in più nella camera per oggetti e vestiti non sarebbe male

Charming place with amazing views of volcano Cotopaxi
Pros:

The lodge was full of character and the fireplace in the common area created a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere on chilly evenings. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was generous, and the views of the volcano were absolutely breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

The shower took a while to warm up.

Pros:

Soy Mauyricio Guía Nacional de Turismo del Ecuador, el lugar es excelente y su atención tambien. Muy recomendable para quienes desean pasar la noche cerca del volcán Cotopaxi. La entrada está ubicada por la vía principal camino al Parque Nacional y cuenta con un parquedero amplio.
