Kleines Hotel mt Charme, aber mit Tücken
Pros:

Die Lage ist für alle interessant, die von St. Pancras abreisen möchten. Der Bahnhof ist fußläufig in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen, so dass man nicht von Pannen im ÖPNV überrascht werden kann. Wer will, kann bis zum Tower zu Fuß laufen. Es sind knapp 3 Meilen. Supermärkte, Gastronomie und Bushaltestellen sind quasi um die Ecke, das British Museum in einer Viertelstunde erreichbar.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer in der dritten Etage war über eine schmale und ziemlich steile Treppe nur mit gefährlicher Akrobatik erreichbar. Klimaanlage Fehlanzeige. Kein Frühstück möglich. Das Hotel eignet sich also nur für einen kurzen Aufenthalt vor der Abreise mit dem Zug. Für mich kein Problem, man sollte es aber vorher wissen.

The location is a key
Pros:

The biggest advantage is location. Its located near many tube stations and located at the centre of cultural attractions like bookshops and museums. Restaurants and cafes are also located near the place. Even without breakfast, its still fine. The staff also solved the heat wave problems by very good ventilator.

Cons:

Its the disanvantages that cant be solved so easily, like its a little bit struggle to go upstairs, and the room is very small. But its the general problems of London houses. If you are fine with that, its still fine. On breakfast, maybe the place is not quite comfortable for mass breakfast guests, but I think, in the future, the hotel can offer, at least, breakfast snackbox. It will be much better.

Basic and fitted our needs of clean bed for tge night
Pros:

Location great , staff lovely and helpful, perfect for our needs of just a bed for the night .
Shower worked well .

Cons:

The room was so small for 4 adults and stairs to top room were lethal with cases so be careful if you book with any mobility issues.
It was just so hot!

Fantastic hotel
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at the Avonmore Hotel and would happily stay here again. The location is absolutely fantastic—it's within easy walking distance of King's Cross and St Pancras stations, making it incredibly convenient for getting around London and visiting all the major attractions.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. It was clear that cleanliness is a priority, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptional throughout my visit—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions or recommendations.

Overall, the Avonmore Hotel offers excellent value for money, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and an unbeatable location for exploring London. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay. Thank you to all the staff for making my trip such a memorable one!

Cons:

The only small point worth mentioning is that the rooms don't have air conditioning. This certainly isn't the hotel's fault, but during the recent hot weather it did make the room quite warm. That said, the staff kindly provided us with a fan, and we had also brought our own, which helped make things much more comfortable.
Overall, this is a fantastic hotel offering great value, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would happily stay here again on my next visit to London.

Pros:

The location is great and the room was big enough for our family. The room is not very modern, but the hotel was clean and we had all the needed amenities. There was no AC, but the small fan was enough to keep us cool.

Good location but wouldn’t stay again.

Location was good for accessing the Eurostar

Cons:

It was so small for 4 of us. Was uncomfortable all squeezed in with luggage too. Really hot with only a little fan. Very dated and needs modernising desperately. Wasn’t worth what we paid unfortunately.

The most helpful hotel, wonderful stay. Quiet and comfortable room.
Pros:

Even before I had made the booking this hotel was the only one, out of many I contacted, that replied to my query about having a room that was suitable for someone with limited mobility and struggled with stairs. They kindly offered a ground floor room. On this premise I booked with them. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The en-suite shower was perfect. The room had all we needed for our stay in London. There was also 24 hour reception on site too, which was peace of mind. The area is lovely. We knew breakfast etc wasn’t included but wanted to explore the local area and found wonderful places to eat. I would stay here again too.

Pros:

The hotel location is very good, close everywhere and very convenient. The staff were very friendly, helpful and understanding. We unfortunately had an accident and spilled a drink on the bedding, but they handled it very kindly, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay.

Pros:

There was plenty of space in the room and having the door between adults and children in the same room made it practical.

Cons:

Room was very outdated. The kettle didnt reach the table when plugged in so we had to fill it on the floor. Which was funny for us as all older but dangerous with little ones. The drawers were also broken and kept coming open. No air con. The storage for bags is just a side space. No security with it so dont leave much. Soap and shampoo were poor. And to to top it all as there was no air con I had to shut the windows as a bird kept trying to come in and I saw someone named trying to shut their window.

Nel cuore di King’s Cross!
Pros:

Ottima posizione, vicina sia a King Cross/St Pancras che alla metro Euston. Camera più grande rispetto alla media di Londra, bagno però molto piccolo. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna che pur essendo molto caldo di giorno la sera era fresco e si dormiva bene con la finestra aperta.. c’è solo un ventilatore in caso! Staff gentile anche se ogni tanto andavano via. No ascensore,quindi preparatevi alle scalinate inglesi!

Cons:

Bagno piccolo, solo un ventilatore in caso di troppo caldo
