We absolutely loved our stay at the Herodion Hotel. The location is fantastic — perfectly situated close to the Acropolis, beautiful restaurants, cafés, and plenty of shops, all within easy walking distance. The atmosphere around the hotel is vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect base to explore Athens.
What really made the experience special was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived.
A wonderful hotel in an unbeatable location — we would happily stay here again.
The only small downside was that there is a primary school next door, so during school hours you do hear children playing and some daytime noise. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it’s something to keep in mind if you are very sensitive to noise or hoping for complete quiet during the day.
Wonderful location essentially right next to the acropolis and acropolis museum. Hotel property very well kept, only slight negative described below.
There was a sewer gas odor in the bathroom. Others have complained about it. If someone is extremely sensitive to this, be sure to ask them to move your room - apparently it does not effect all rooms equally.
Excellent staff and service. Every request answered immediately.
The location is excellent. You can walk everywhere. The acropolis museum is just down the block. The restaurants in the area are good.
The staff is so friendly and helpful.
The shower head broke and they sent someone to fix it. They just stuck it back together, so it fell apart again!
The public areas, comfortable, quiet and bar facilities if you want them
Her şeyini çok iyiydi. Kahvaltısına da bayıldık

Location
Excellent location and wonderful staff just made our first time to the area extremely positive!
Great hotel, staff, rooms were perfect. The superior room with the acropolis view was amazing. The upstairs roofdeck was awesome. The jacuzzis were great.
Breakfast was great offer European and American style food.
Ordering omelet was a little confusing.
The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the Acropolis, with restaurants, bus routes, shopping, and charming cobbled streets all right at your doorstep. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, with a special mention to Nicoletta at reception, who went above and beyond to assist us. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and the beds made for a great night’s sleep after busy days exploring the city. Breakfast was also very enjoyable, with a good variety to start the day.
I cannot think of anything I don’t like !
