Great location for visiting Geneva but not for sleeping.
Pros:

Location to train station and city center and many restaurants and grocery stores nearby

Cons:

The mattress was sagging and it was very noisy at night making it hard to sleep, earplugs are a must. The AC is extremely weak and you cannot control it so the room was very warm at night -difficult to sleep.

Gutes Hotel, direkt am Bahnhof
Pros:

Ich habe nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht, doch für die kurze Zeit, war es wirklich top.
Nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer und ein toller Panoramablick im Frühstücksraum, über die ganze Stadt.
Gute Lage, direkt 2min vom Bahnhof entfernt und ca 12min zum See

Cons:

Das Frühstücksbuffet, dürfte etwas mehr Auswahl vertragen. Doch wegen der eher kleineren Platzverhältnisse, schwierig umzusetzen.

Good Hotel next to Main Railway station.
Pros:

Breakfast rather expensive went into railway station to buy food.

Cons:

Three single beds in one room good but first room offered only had a frosted half glass wall between bathroom and bed room ok for families but ask for another room. Staff very helpful. Trams run just outside hotel which results in a low rumble track noise every few minutes day and most of night.
