The location, close to multiple fancy/regular restaurants and amenities
I honestly don't know where to start. I spent 5 nights at this hotel and booked a Premium Room instead of the regular Deluxe Room because I expected it to be better. Little did I know I was far from right.
First of all, our room was on the first floor, right next to a side street and at the edge of the main street. I'm a light sleeper, and I couldn't sleep properly a single night. I would only manage to fall asleep around 4–5 AM, even though my normal bedtime is around midnight.
Because of the noise and lack of sleep, our whole schedule was ruined. We would wake up exhausted and late, which affected the plans we had made for our vacation. A lot of things had to be changed or rushed, and our plans simply didn't turn out the way we had hoped.
I complained at reception, but they told me the hotel was overbooked. Abderahman from reception said he would get back to me the next day, but he never did.
On top of that, the room itself was in very poor condition. For a Premium Room, it honestly felt more like a 2-star hotel. The wallpaper was coming off in several places and had stains from some kind of white substance in multiple areas. The keycard detector was also broken and looked really ugly, it almost looked like a regular keyhole rather than a keycard system.
The bathroom had its own problems. The sliding door only worked on one side; the other was detached from the frame and wouldn't slide. The bathroom also leaked whenever we showered, so we had to put a towel on the floor, which would get completely soaked. We had to ask for extra towels almost every day because of this. The bathroom wall was also cracked.
The body lotion provided was clearly very old. When I tried to use it, the oil had separated from the white substance and it looked like rotten milk. Needless to say, I didn't use it again.
The staff weren't particularly friendly either. The housekeeper was the exception, she was genuinely very nice and friendly.
Location and lovely staff
Had a nice enough stay and would stay again. Really convenient, staff were on point and really attentive to the guests. The hotel is giving we have a great location so don’t really need try hard to stay popular vibes. Pool Facilities seemed a bit dated. The Pizza on room service was really poor.

Un très agréable séjour au Barceló ! Un grand merci à Aziz, à la réception, pour son accueil chaleureux, sa gentillesse et sa grande disponibilité, qui ont vraiment contribué à rendre le séjour agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, très varié et de qualité.
Petit bémol : un souci d’eau chaude pendant le séjour, qui m’a obligée à prendre une douche froide 😅, mais le problème a heureusement été rapidement réglé.
Hors une seul personne dans la réception madame Khaoula qui étais vraiment à l écoute
Pour des raisons personnelles et professionnelles j étais dans l’obligation de faire des nouveau Check in et à ma surprise aujourd’hui il me dise que je dois libérer la chambre on a un groupe alors que j y étais la pendsnd 5 nuit j étais traité comme un chien
