What makes sapodilla so special are the staff and the hospitality. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to help you. The free shuttle service is an excellent bonus as walking around Ubud can be challenging. There were many options for breakfast but my favorite was the Balinese breakfast with a yummy Balinese porridge. There was always ample water in my room and I loved the detail of coming back in the evening to a bed time story and nice lighting.
There is a bit of construction noise going on that perhaps should be told when booking . But in all honesty, it wasn’t that bad in the 5 days I was there.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Minibar gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer modern und neu. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch der schöne Garten mit Pool, der eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre geschaffen hat. Das Personal war durchweg außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hervorzuheben ist außerdem das Frühstück: sehr lecker, mehr als ausreichend und mit einigen außergewöhnlichen Details, die es besonders gemacht haben. Die Lage war ebenfalls gut; man konnte bequem zu Fuß in die Stadt laufen.
Kleine Einschränkungen gab es dennoch: Im Bad stand lediglich eine Regendusche ohne zusätzliche Handbrause zur Verfügung. Zudem wurde das Frühstück ausschließlich auf dem Zimmer serviert, was nicht unbedingt meinem persönlichen Geschmack entsprach. Direkt neben dem Hotel finden aktuell Bauarbeiten statt. Fairerweise möchte ich aber erwähnen, dass ich während meines Aufenthalts keinen störenden Baulärm bemerkt habe.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were very friendly, attentive, thoughtful and nice. The breakfast and afternoon tea was delicious and the place was well kept and clean.

Just walking distance from monkey forest. Hotel also offered shuttle services whenever you like. And they pick you up! Just off the main street but no car noises. Very relaxing.
Breakfast menu was like 5 pages of goodness! Everything was just amazing. We stayed in and just kept ordering food to our room because it’s just so cheap.
Service is wonderful. Rianti from front of house was amazing, very and professional. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We are definitely coming back for that hospitality!
