Short. We had to leave early. But staff were very helpful.

Great views
Pros:

The view from the room and restaurant.

Cons:

No fridge, no air con or canopy over the balcony. Nothing to tell you that access to the car park from the road is very difficult. The bathroom needs an upgrade. The wifi was intermittent.

Unrivalled views - good food
Pros:

Wonderful views over St Aubyns - attractive terrace, dining area, bar and lounge are.
Good food, friendly staff.

Cons:

The reception area is dated and doesn’t reflect the attractiveness of the other communal spaces.
The staff need more training - whilst all were friendly, they were not all proactive in asking what you wanted, particularly at breakfast time.

Lage, Lage, Lage
Pros:

Herausragende Lage mit Blick in die St. Aubins Bay und Elizabeth Cadtle. Wunderschöne Bar mit Terrasse und sehr freundlicher Service.
Schöner Garten und Pool mit Liegen und Schirmen. Ansprechendes Frühstücksbuffet mit Extraoptionen.
Vom Balkon ebenfalls schöner Meerblick.
Gartenweg in Richtung Meer sehr praktisch.

Cons:

Zimmer sehr klein. Ebenso Bad und Balkon. Nur kleine Trennwände am Balkon, keine Privatsphäre. Hotelbereich insgesamt sehr beengt. Schmale Gänge und Treppen. Gebäude insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

A comfortable and stylish hotel
Pros:

Location gave great views over bay and set in nice gardens. Buses from the road beneath made getting anywhere easy. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Great to have a balcony with room. Pool small but clean and good space around for loungers. Food was good.

Cons:

Don’t be put off by simple exterior - inside is lovely.

Good location though difficult turn in road to entry to hotel

Cons:

No sense of order at breakfast time .Waiter shows you to a table and a help yourself buffet hot and cold available.If you want a pot of tea or order something cooked from kitchen from menu then you have to be lucky to catch the attention of the waiters in order to do that . Dinner menu limited and poor service,food was cold had to send it back , another time 3 roast dinners were ordered 2 the same meat ,some veg missing from 1 dinner and cold Yorkshire puddings.

Fabulous location but staff attentiveness from majority was lacking.

Despite plenty of staff working throughout the hotel, difficult to order drinks/food.
Seemed that two of the staff were doing most of the work.
Asked to change room with reception as paid for balcony room and ours didn’t overlook the bay.
No body contacted us regarding our query.
Disappointed as we stayed 5 nights and saw many other hotel guests arrive and leave.
There were 45 balcony rooms in total!

Schönes Hotel in toller Lage!
Pros:

Wir haben diese Zimmer spontan gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Schönes Zimmer, tolle Aussicht (Meeresrauschen inklusive!) und gemütliche Betten. Was will man mehr! Der Service war gut und wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Die Lage ist wunderschön in dem kleinen Hügel gelegen und die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer und vom Restaurant einfach toll. Da schmeckt das leckere Frühstück nochmal so gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
