For the purpose of a quick stay the bed was comfortable but the room and bathroom needs renovation

The bathroom needs a serious overhaul. Peeling paint, mildew. Shower head poor . Only fine outside spray. Noisy air conditioning/ coolroom fans from the pub are just outside the rooms

the rooms had cockroaches it was not clean amd at the back where the chef would sit out and smoke disgusting stay aircon didnt work the wifi did not work in room

Great option for a budget overnight in Cairns.
Pros:

Modest accom on site with Hotel. Great for a "one stop shop"....stay, eat, drink etc. Great value accomodation. Good quality meals although maybe a little on the expensive side. Overall would definitely consider next time I'm in Cairns. All staff were very friendly and very helpful!

Cons:

Unfortunately the room had a leaking water pipe that leaked water over bedroom floor. The night manager was fantastic...he helped me try to stop, soak up leak by adding numerous towels and mats. He couldn't have done more to help. This comes under the heading "S**t happens!" ...no ones fault, I was happy to stay in the room as there was nothing anyone could do until the following day.

Comfortable for a short stay.
Pros:

Even though the room was compact it suited us as we basically needed it for sleeping.

Cons:

We were disturbed early in the morning with an Indigenous person knocking on the door.

Cons:

My feet were getting black walking barefoot in the room. There were cockroaches everywhere, mold in the shower. Termites on the doorframe. Very loud air-conditioning just outside the room even when turned off inside the room.

Broken glass louvres, which were replaced by cardboard.
Glass shower screen broken and panels removed.
Bed lamps need bulbs replaced.
Hot water in vanity turned off and when turned on leaked.
Side table for bed is little more than a packing case.
In general the unit 10 needs some loving care to make it more acceptable.

Convient, clean, bed good, all the necessary things there ie fridge, kettle, toaster.
Pros:

The king size bed was very comfortable. The room was small but had everything we needed including a fridge, toaster, jug, cups, tea. Coffee sugar. It was only 50 mts from the dinning room where we had a very nice dinner, very friendly lady working in the dinning room. Over all, good value for $90 as we only needed to sleep there. We felt safe in the motel and its area.

Cons:

Maybe just the refrigeration motors which were part of the hotel, which cut in and out but they didn’t bother us after a while and never interrupted our sleep.
