Pros:

Vanwege een vervroegde terugvlucht hebben we geen gebruik kunnen maken van de ontbijtservice. Maar de lunch- en het diner waren dermate goed, dat dit ook het ontbijt zou gelden, schat ik in... Personeel was buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Een aanrader bij aankomst in Sri Lanka of voor laatste verblijf voor vertrek via luchthaven van Colombo.

Cons:

Niks! we hadden hier een onverwacht korter verblijf ivm gewijzigde vluchttijden, maat achteraf hadden we hier wel langer willen blijven. Zeer mooie, schone (!) en goed onderhouden accommodatie, met keurige faciliteiten!

Wspaniała obsługa. Państwo czekali na nas do 4 rano. Specjalnie dla nas przygotowali późne śniadanie. Pokoje komfortowe.

A lovely, family-owned hotel which is very clean and well presented
Pros:

Such a great place to rest after flying in to Colombo before our tour of Sri Lanka. The hotel arranged to collect us from the airport and from that moment, nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

Mosquitoes are present at night so a room spray would have been helpful.

Amazing room at an amazing price
Pros:

A clean, big an amazing room with a clean and new property that is taken care of by the owner and the staff. They are friendly and helpful. It is just 20 minutes away from the airport and 1 hour from colombo town center which can be considered far.

Cons:

No issue with the property but it can be hard to get transport to the town center

Amazing
Pros:

Really nice hotel in the wetlands. Very cool place with lots of wildlife on your doorstep. Super close the airport without feeling anything like a transit hotel. The pool is amazing for kids and adults we had a couple of hours there. Dinner was great and we got a really high quality pack up breakfast and a ride to the airport.

Pros:

Peaceful place with an immaculate garden

A really peaceful escape tucked into nature. Wetland Resort lives up to its name—you’re surrounded by lush greenery, birdlife, and that quiet, slow rhythm that’s getting harder to find. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to natural sounds instead of traffic.

The setting is definitely the highlight, and it feels a bit removed from the busier coastal spots, which can be a plus if you’re looking to switch off. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

If you’re after something calm, close to nature, and away from the crowds, this is a solid choice.

Cons:

They didn't know we were coming! When I told them we have a reservation, the staff said, 'No you don't' After a call to the owner or manager they figured out we did.
