Pros:

Was interested in history of the location and house. The sauna /spa closed at 1700 hours and only opened at 1000am. Compare that with designated sign in and leave policy. So it's just bullshit. When I actually physically visited the spa... Attendant was asleep on the reception couch and couldn't speak either English nor Irish. Very disappointed

One of the best stays I've had.
Pros:

Large room and huge bed, a small kitchenette. Smart TV and a shower and large bath. More than you'd expect from a hotel room.

It was beautiful
Pros:

I love the quiet calm environment that is so personal and relaxing. I felt like we were the only people in the hotel.

Cons:

Housekeeping could have cleaned the room when we were at breakfast.

Pros:

Rome was comfortable and large but the hotel lacks character given its position

Cons:

I am not impressed with being charged by both booking and the hotel direct after giving my card for any extra charges which was impossible as nothing is going on in the hotel

Pros:

Room was bijou but lovely, house and decor was really impressive. Grounds looked well laid out but unfortunately the weather was poor so didn't get to enjoy it. The Church restaurant was excellent with very good staff

Cons:

No bar service, very limited variety, no on tap beer when we stayed. Breakfast very poor first morning, but much improved on second morning.
