Great rooms, great location, great jazz
Pros:

If you like jazz, this is the place to stay in Morioka, if you don't like jazz - it's still the place to stay. Don't be put off by it being above the bus station. The rooms are cool. I had a single with a nice green courtyard view. The jazz angle is a jazz cafe West38 and Toshiko Akiyoshi Museum run by Ken - try to have a chat with him.

Cons:

They don't have parking - park in the lot directly behind the bus station -away from the big road - reception will give you a coupon to pay

Very pleasantly different from the run of the mill. Exceptional hotel.
Pros:

Welcoming, friendly staff teams. Brilliant breakfast, both Japanese and Western - beautifully presented. Onsen good and clean. Quirky and pleasant décor. Really enjoyed our stay. Right over a food court. Well-organised, free parking.

盛岡城趾等の観光、じゃじゃ麺などの食事等、何処に行くのにも便利でした。

Pros:

スタッフもよし、施設もおしゃれでコンパクトでよし、一階には有名な福田パンもある。
近くにコンビニもある。　
部屋もスタイリッシュでアートも飾られてて、水回りの位置が特殊だけどそれが逆に良かった。水回り部分とベッドスペースはカーテンで区切ることができる。
大浴場は小さいが清潔感あってとてもスタイリッシュ。シャワーヘッドはリファだし、大浴場備え付けのドライヤーはダイソンなどの高級ブランド。
盛岡駅からは遠いがホテルはバスセンターの真上にあるので、市バスを利用すれば10分ほどで着きあまり疲れないので、駅近のホテルと疲れ具合はあまり差はない。
逆に観光地の中心部に近いので、観光はしやすいと思う。
下の階に色々飲食店があるのも楽しい。
荷物も預かってもらえる。

Cons:

私が泊まっていた部屋だけなのかわからないが、壁のなかの水道の音がとても響く。それは自分が使った場合に出るんじゃなくて、ほかの部屋が使ったからなのか、それともほかの原因なのかはわからないけど。　
あとエアコンの位置が微妙で、目の前の壁に風が当たってその下にベッドがあるから寒い。風量や向きなどのコントロールが難しかった。

お気に入りの宿、マザリウムです。
Pros:

今回三度目の宿泊です。今回はいままでで
一番小さい部屋でしたので、少し狭く感じましたが、清潔でおしゃれで機能的な点はとにかく気に入っていますし。お風呂も大満足です。

もう少し駅に近いといいのになって、いつも思います。
