Memorable stay despite a few minor inconveniences.
Pros:

Tahanan Resort is truly a beautiful little gem in Siquijor. The property feels peaceful, secluded, and almost like having your own private resort. While our stay wasn’t perfect, the genuine hospitality of the staff made all the difference. What really sets Tahanan apart is its people. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly warm and accommodating, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Benjie and Archem at the bar, whose friendliness and exceptional service made our experience even more memorable. And don’t leave without trying the pizza! It’s made fresh in their wood-fired hearth and was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. We also loved being greeted by Kia, the resort’s sweet resident dog, who added to the welcoming atmosphere.

Cons:

There were a few downsides. The bathrooms in our rooms had a noticeable odor, the blankets were thinner than expected, and beach towels cost ₱50 to rent for the day, which felt like an unnecessary extra charge. We also had to move one group into a smaller room above the bar due to a room issue. Fortunately, it ended up working out just fine for us.

Nos alojamos en una cabaña muy bonita, sencilla con ventilador y baño en el exterior, los trabajadores son muy amables, dispone de restaurante y una piscina perfecta para relajarte y refrescarte. Tiene muy bonitas vistas al mar. Y su ubicación es buena cerca del pueblo de San Juan.

Todo perfecto incluso me ayudaron para hacerle una,sorpresa a mi mujer que estaba de cumpleaños muchas gracias. SOÑANDO POR EL MUNDO

Quiet hotel with pool, perfect start to any holiday!
Pros:

Tahanan resort really is just what you need for your island getaway. More quiet and with rooms spread throughout the property it's peaceful energy helped bring in the calm element of the trip. The food offered was great, a nice range of Filipino classics with some additional cuisines (the sushi was good!). All staff members were friendly and helpful and the room although an interesting shape was perfect for our needs.

Lovely resort but needs some maintenance
Pros:

Generally very good, great location and lovely views out over the sea but felt like it was a little bit neglected and could do with some maintenance.

Cons:

There were lots of mosquitoes in my room when I checked in. When I mentioned it the staff did give me a coil but it didn't get rid of them all - I think part of the problem was that the drain in the CR was a bit blocked and so water was building up and there was also a lot of open bamboo panelling in the CR that was damp and mildewy so there were lots of places for them to breed and hide. The pool was also a bit dirty and looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time. Generally a lovely resort but seems a bit neglected and like it could do with a bit of maintenance.
