Pros:

Comfortable room with all that we'd expected including a big fridge. Obviously the location was superb for skiing and acres ski but too noisy.
Excellent food and drinks at the restaurant. Staff first class.

Cons:

We were given a room near the road for morning traffic noise and next to the beer garden for noise from late afternoon until 10pm. Even a rainy day the music blasted out. If you came for acres ski then ideal Vos it just outside you room including tables also just outside the room door where people sat chatting over their meal and drinks.

Great experience
Pros:

Great atmosphere. We arrived after a day of skiing and loved the beer garden. Was so cosy with all the outdoor fires and the food was amazing. The hot tub was such a bonus after skiing too.

The rooms were quaint and beautifully appointed. They were cleaned daily and were warm without being over hot. The water ran hot and plentiful and the food at both the bar and the restaurant was fabulous.

Lovely.
Pros:

Wonderful staff, wonderfully appointed, immaculately clean and cosy and excellent food and ambience.

Cons:

We were in a room on the opposite side of the hotel parking lot and had to trek our bags across mud and uneven stones, through groups of people gathered for dinner and drinks at the hotel- it was a bit embarrassing- but we were also understanding that it's a historic setting and there's only so much that can be done about the layout/floors.
