Cardrona Hotel is a wonderful place to stay nestled in the most beautiful scenery.
Pros:

Rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Meals both nights at the hotel were fantastic. Loved our stay. Look forward to returning again soon.

A delightful stay in a historical, quaint hotel!!
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay in this quaint, historic hotel. Cardrona Hotel is a real gem. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Restaurant offerings were excellent and a great atmosphere with choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and helpful

Bloody awesome place
Pros:

Love the Cardrona pub. Go there every time we ski Cardrona but first time staying. So pretty at night and great dinner menu. Staff awesome. Laundry on site and new bakery open great stuff

Great spot, good value
Pros:

location, good price, food was good

Cons:

It had a Hot Tub but our room was positioned at the end of the beer garden and we would have had to walk through the crowd to get to the tub, didnt really want to walk through the crowd in my speedos

Pros:

This was a great place to stay. Our room was excellent, the food was the best we'd had in years, and their bar and beer garden were super relaxing.

Pros:

Location and the vibe. The new bakery is excellent. Good to have new tvs in rooms. Great heating and space in the rooms. Good pub food. Hot tub relaxing.

Cons:

Bed by the window in room 6 needs replacing, it has a 45 degree slope on the mattress- just awful. Could do with a mirror even just inside wardrobe door.

Pros:

Comfortable, quiet, clean rooms. Readily available dining. Friendly staff. The bakery has the best pies and cheese scones. While further away from towns (which is what we wanted) it isn't too far from wanaka and very convienient to head up to Cardrona ski park.
