Gorgeous location, fab views and mountain right behind you.

Cons:

No fans and only one room out of 3 had fly screens and there are many flies! My room was 25.4 deg! One bed wasn’t made up and when I asked for a sheet as it is me and my two teenage sons, the crumpled sheet was just left on the bed for me to make up. Also no food available - the restaurant was closed and no facilities to cook, no snacks left for us. Advertisement photos have baskets of food and found this misleading. Outside needed a bit of tidying - lots of weeds and overgrowth leading up the paths to rooms and out the front of the building. We stayed for 3 nights and paid £1500.00 so was expecting a bit more care.

Fraud Owner - Dont book this hotel
Pros:

Nothing.
Owner who manage this property will ask for 100 CHF deposit to enter the property. Which is against the booking rules. You will have no option but to pay to get the keys.
If you need help or guide, will not pickup the phone. I was stuck for 3 hours with an infant in Grindelwald and called him for help. No feedback.
All after that i have not received my deposit back also. He blocked my number also on whatsapp and not responding any longer. This shows exactly the intention of seeking a deposit.
Housekeeping is only done if you book for 3 nights. Who does this?
Stay away from this property. Owners who manage their property like that should be banned from all platforms. Worst experience. Never booking again.

Would highly recommend this property to everyone.
Pros:

It is an excellent property in a quiet neighbourhood about 20 minutes away by bus from the railway station. Breathtaking views of the Eiger and other peaks from the rooms. The cabin is in the lap of nature, surrounded by the Alps. Perfect place to rejuvenate. Very well connected to nearby restaurants by bus or by foot. It is a sprawling place, very clean and has an old-world charm as well.

Cons:

A small pantry sink is very much required and would make a lot of difference.

Genel olarak memnun kaldım, tekrar tercih ederim. Chalet garden ve odası oldukça yeterliydi.

Séjour parfait en couple pour le ski d'hiver mais aussi rando d'été

L'emplacement est très bien en voiture plus un parking à 2 pas de l'entrée du chalet, pour se rendre dans le centre de Grindelwald le bus est inclus gratuitement. la chambre est très grande et la décoration soignée. La salle de douche est un peu petite mais parfaitement fonctionnelle, propre et refaite à neuf (comme l'ensemble du chalet). Le petit réfrigérateur est bien (même s'il est un peu limite pour y laisser tous les fromages qu'on peut acheter :D). Le café est top ! Le lieu est très bien pour la randonnée d'été aussi.
