Significant drawbacks to be aware of
Pros:

Location, styling and new.

Cons:

I’ve stayed twice in Queen and King rooms and both rooms incredibly dark with terrible lighting and also very noisy (from above, corridor and outside, so clearly a build issue). I forgot my iPhone charger and asked to borrow one and was told to go to Kmart as they don't have chargers or adaptors (sorry, this is pathetic for a $400 night hotel).

Overall disappointing experience, noisy, sensor light easily activated & bar closed early.
Pros:

Staff friendly.
Great location.
Cool fit out

Cons:

Lovely rooftop bar however closed by 10 on a long weekend. We had drink vouchers & planned on having a drink before bed only to arrive back from dinner & it was closed. Even the hotel staff were surprised.
Very noisy room constant sound of aircon running outside window,
Sensor lights in bathroom & cabinetry was easily triggered ie. reaching from bed to bedside table & stayed on for a long period of time very disruptive!

Pros:

Absolutely Loved Hyde Melbourne ! We were looking for a cool hotel and we found it ! Service was on point and location was great ! So close to all the cool restaurants and shopping !

Central location, Stunning facilities and real Vibe.
Pros:

The Hyde is such a Vibe.... the fit out is Japandi which is one of my favourite styles....the rooftop restaurant and bar is awesome. So close to everything, we walked everywhere. I'll be back!
