Peaceful, ideal short break!

Catastrophic experience probably WAS a good hotel

In short, 4 days booking with 2 sea view rooms. Fire alarm at 7 in the morning on day 2, 2nd room not done on day two. We had then to move, please be aware that if you have a sea view room on the ground floor and there is a wedding the wedding actually occurs also in your room. Impossible to sleep. It took them 3 hours to find a solution we were put in a room at the end of the hotel on top of an electric transformatior. They have to leave the window open because heat builds up in the room being on top of it (health and safety?). Absolutely no gesture, the manager talked to me like a 5 year old child. The bathrooms have been updated but it looks like it was done by me. Food, go next door at the boat restaurant. In a nutshell if you want a party hotel go for it if you want a leisure hotel flee! For the record they were not even able to provide me with a correct invoice, I am still waiting for it. They are just not professionals! Will never visit the other hotels of the Harcourt group. To the manager: 1000 apologies will not turn an unhappy customer into a happy one. When you are offered an early leave against the refund of the end of the stay that well maybe the best option for everyone...

Hervorragende Lage mit Panorama
Pros:

Unser großzügiges Zimmer in diesem sehr gepflegten Hotel hat uns viel Platz geboten und wir hatten einen tollen Panoramablick sowohl vom Zimmer, Restaurant bzw. Frühstücksraum als auch vom Schwimmbad aus. Bemerkenswert sind auch die bequemen Betten. Besonders gut hat uns der wunderbar gestaltete SPA Bereich mit vielen Sprudelstellen gefallen. Viel Platz hatten wir auch im dortigen Umkleidebereich, das war sehr angenehm. Für Golfer ist natürlich der Golfplatz ideal. Wir haben schöne Strände nördlich des Hotels gefunden.
