Disappointed in the basic, dated decor and smell of the room but price was reasonable.
Pros:

Town was in a nice scenic area

Cons:

Hotel decor was dated and you could tell that the room was once a smoking-allowed room (we’re non-smokers). Could be a great historic hotel if it had a makeover though.

Great option in Merritt
Pros:

Good location; surprisingly quiet (on a weeknight); friendly staff. The bathroom was a old style but everything worked well and it was clean and comfy!

The proximity to all I needed to do.

Cons:

The stairs were a lot for a 73 year old with a suitcase and a guitar. Staff helped me get up but there was no one there when I left.
