The staff went above and beyond for our stay here, leaving us a lovely card and a voucher for complimentary drinks to celebrate our anniversary The views of Fistral Beach alone are worth every penny, getting to watch surfers and sunsets from the cosy foyer or from your room if you're lucky enough to have a seaview.
The hotel itself was very clean (except from the pool area) and rooms are serviced and cleaned daily with an eco-friendly approach to towels which I appreciated. The room we stayed in had a balcony with a lovely ensuite and towels/robes provided. All the facilities were also incredible with daily films on for children in the cinema and the pool.
The soundproofing (or lack thereof) is really not great if you're on the first floor. We could hear every single noise the people above us were making at all hours. As you're walking through the corridors, you can also hear what people are saying/doing in their rooms which isn't ideal.
Very helpful staff, great location with view across Fistral Beach.

The room was very large and bright. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and hot. The bedroom overlooked the beach which was lovely, you could hear the ocean at night.
They had a booking of 20+ children they constantly raced around the corridors screaming and shouting. Completely unaware of the other guests.
The view from my room overlooked the glass entrance, the glass roof is covered in debris and weeds which was disappointing.
It’s a very long walk to the town no restaurants or bars close nearby.

It was brilliant from the easy check in to services throughout our stay, the location was perfect and beautiful views, the facilities were brilliant and well maintained. The food was divine.
The alcohol selection wasnt very broad.
Location was excellent. Staff were superb.
Breakfast was ok. Noisy neighbours disturbed sleep.

The large & loud machine outside that was washing the windows we think..,there for the 3 days we were so less car parking but probably not there all the time usually
Breakfast was spot on. The stuff were welcoming, professional and very polite. The choice of breakfast works for everyone with different pallets. The room was perfect, especially with that view from the balcony.
Parking is a bit of a problem.

The pizzas that we had delivered to our room were very disappointing.
I had a great stay in the hotel, the beds are very comfortable and the sea view is worth the fee! I got to know the staff pretty well during my stay and they were all friendly and helpful!
Big mention to Loz the breakfast manager, a really lovely young lady, she took a real interest in my daily activities and gave me lots of ideas about other walks/cycling I could do during my stay and made me feel very welcome!
I aIso took a surf lesson with the hotel surf place attached to the hotel and it was awesome and they were really encouraging! Thanks to Kate, Martha and Isaac!

The low ceiling as you walk up the stairs to room 103, it has a mind your head sign but I was looking left and banged my head, I suggested they may want to add a layer of foam just in case someone else isn’t looking where they are going 🫣 but nothing else, it was all great!!
Location and staff
-One slow elevator is not enough for such hotel, at least should have 3 elevators
- no AC in rooms, lobbies, and in restaurants
- breakfast very poor
- no espresso machines in rooms and in restaurant
