VERY loud bar downstairs!
Pros:

The decor of the room and the location were great

Cons:

There was a shared kitchen just outside my room, so people would gather there, right by my door. Thankfully, they were quiet.
The music from the bar downstairs was so loud the floor was shaking - I found this unacceptable as it went on until very late. My colleague, whose room was just above the bar, ended up sleeping on the sofa in my room for the entire stay (2 nights)
People leaving the bar or going outside to smoke were super loud too...
One more note for other guests: there is no reception.

Great rooms; not so good nights for sleep
Pros:

Fabulous rooms decor and amenities

Cons:

Monotonous bass & drums emanating from ground floor establishment that vibrated everything in the room for 3-4 hours each night until 2 AM. Very difficult to maintain sleep.

This was a great boutique hotel close to many downtown amenities. Location felt safe.
Pros:

Great location, unique property.

Cons:

Only complaint would be the street fair that was being held outside.

Pros:

Cool vibe. Pleasant communal space. Great bar.

Cons:

No reception made it feel a bit inhuman, and it was a small bit loud (though they had warned that)

Cons:

Our stay was too short

Location was great. It's in the Crossroads area of KC not too far away from Downtown. I loved the uniqueness of the hotel and the common area for all the guests.

Enjoyable space, fun to see, very-VERY noisy.
Pros:

Location was nice. Small hotel, 8 total rooms. Cool communal kitchenette, dining, indoor and outdoor lounging areas. Bar downstairs had a DJ the night I stayed. Earlier in the afternoon the bar had a much quieter, classic, and older vibe

Cons:

Sound coming from outside or hallways is not blocked at all! Very loud space. Can hear street level noise perfectly clear in the rooms. Table and counter surfaces were obviously unclean and unwiped, could still see cup rings on tables. It was cold the weekend I was in KC, the heater is slow to keep up - though, a portable heater was provided. I did not like waiting until the next day to receive my entry codes.
