Absolutely perfect
Pros:

Our private room with pool was absolutely gorgeous. We felt safe, comfortable and very close to all the activities and tours we wanted to do. Our car battery died one day and they called the rental car company for us and made sure it was working properly by the time we got back from our tour. The staff was so wonderful and helpful, I cannot recommend the Fortuna Retreat enough.

Great boutique hotel close to Fortuna, but away from the hustle and bustle
Pros:

Great location, lush gardens that were great for bird/nature watching. Very helpful staff!

Cons:

Needed a dresser for clothes, not just the 3 little drawers.

Love everything about it.
Pros:

We had a wonderful time at Fortuna Retreat, The hotel is very peaceful, quiet and beautiful. Location is very convenient too. Breakfast location is very nice, we saw lots of wild life there.

Pros:

Die Unterkunft war toll, unser Zimmer war bestens ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Vulkan. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt wirklich ein außergewöhnlich toller Aufenthalt!

המלון מהמם ביופיו, בעיקר הגינות והשטחים הסובבים.
מקלחת גדולה מאוד וברמה מאוד טובה.
החדרים בקומה שניה עם נוף טוב יותר להר הגעש..

Stylish, but slightly impractical

Pros:

The people were very nice and recommended great places to see. Views were amazing!

Cons:

The location was in a little bit of a rougher place in town. Just don’t go walking around outside of the property.

Perfect intro to Costa Rica with comfort, convenience, and nearby experiences
Pros:

We LOVED this location because it felt quaint and cozy, while being immersed in wildlife. The gardens were well maintained, beautiful, and immersed you in wildlife. We had a private patio with pool which we enjoyed with our 11-month old baby girl. The drive to the breakfast spot at arenal oasis took 1 minute and the walk to the restaurant allowed us to see and hear such amazing wildlife. Our room and facilities were so clean. We were very close to coffee/cacao tours, thermal springs, fortuna waterfall, nature tours, and of course the arenal volcano.

Cons:

I didn’t like that we only stayed 3 nights- we wish we could’ve stayed longer.
