Beautiful setting, conversion of the previous religious order building could be better with dodgy plumbing (noisy pipes)
Pros:

Beautiful gardens and furniture in common areas

Cons:

No breakfast in a rural setting is not good especially on Sunday and Monday when local cafes are closed. More effort needed to provide tea making in the room and perhaps croissants delivered to the room instead of one kettle and croissants for all guests in the common room.

Beautiful but unpretentious guest house in perfectly maintained 19th century country house
Pros:

Everything. The gardens, grounds and the house's cultured style. The open rooms with beautiful furniture where you can work or enjoy tea/coffee/croissants all day. Bed, bed linen and (tiny) bathroom were top notch with a powerful shower. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly. The view from our bedroom window!

Cons:

N.B. There was a bus outside into Cork, but you probably need a car to make the most of the place.
