We liked the fire on the beach, the fire spots at the hotel, the view from the room.

Pros:

Liked the View of the Beach along with the balcony.

Cons:

The noise from other rooms. People stomping around above you. Can hear people next door making alot of noise. We wasn't able to sleep in, was woken up at 6am. There was still garbage under the sink, sand on the floors still.

Surftides is an excellent beachside property with excellent access to food/scenery
Pros:

Surftides has exceptional Ocean views from your room/balcony and walking access to a pristine beach on the Pacific. Some rooms have fireplaces and thats wonderful when there is (usually) rain and wind. Restaurant/pool/spa onsite and excellent food within a short drive. Fire pits available. I've been going here for nearly 20 years and its become my Pacific home-away-from-home.

Functional and comfortable.
Pros:

Everything works, hot water right away, plenty of flat surfaces.

Cons:

Bathroom is small and awkward, some paint touches are needed. Chair fabric was worn and ripped.

Great location and room, but a bit on the pricey side.
Pros:

The room was very homey with beautiful nautical decorations. Our room was easily accessible from the parking lot and in close proximity to the pool and front desk. This hotel is located close to the beach and has a pool.

Cons:

The pool is in its own building and you must get pool towels from the front desk. It was raining when we had to walk back and forth. Also, be careful in the pool building. There are stairs going downward to the pool deck. The price seemed a bit steep for a single night stay and no complimentary breakfast.

Nice enough for a short beach stay, seemed clean, view was great. I would stay there again.
Pros:

Easy check in/out, lobby was nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon check in we were told we got a room upgrade which was great, it had recently been updated and the view was perfect. The outdoor fireplaces with seating was a nice touch.

Cons:

The sink in the bathroom had a very slow drain, that grossed me out. I did report it upon departure.
