The room was gorgeous, clean, spacious. The staff were so friendly and fun.
The food was literally spectacular.
Unfortunately the let down was the cleaning staff at 4am until 5.30am, they were so loud and it was so annoying, it ruined a great experience by everyone else
I loved the staff especially as my plane was late and I was hiring a car and driving over one and a quarter hours it was going to miss the meal service. They said no worries what would you like and made it and keep it for me until I arrived which I thought was fantastic. It's a beautiful old pub exactly like an old original country pub
It was a bit noisy with trucks driving past using engine brakes so I would recommend some ear plugs, and I was not a fan of the shared bathroom down the end of the corridor even though they were seem to be no one on my floor I didn't read that or notice that when I was booking.
The bathroom was fine and clean but it's law when you get up in the night to go to the bathroom you've got to put a t-shirt on and hope noones coming down the corridor while you're going up the other way.
A first world problem really.
The ambience and fireplace
On Booking.com the description of the room included a balcony and upon arrival and check-in our room did not have a balcony.
Room was really comfortable, loads of thoughtful touches (slippers, nice toiletries etc), staff were really friendly and super accommodating, food was great, good all round!
Large room and bathroom, comfortable bed and very clean
We enjoyed our stay. Very good food at pub restaurant. Very comfortable and clean. Excellent renovations of rooms and bathrooms. No breakfast available nearby coffee shops very good.
No en suite bathroom in our room. I didn't notice that when booking.
Lovely old hotel, Rooms were lovely all modern.
The pub down stairs lovely for a meal except was very busy & forgot to order my meal, & my husband had finished his dinner when mine came,
But they did give us complimentary drinks all very young staff & lovely but under pressure.
Old world charm & style.
But not parking out back lane way.
Jesse the bar manager was such a welcoming person, she helped us with dinner and booking in to our comfortable room, what an asset she is to this amazing accomodation venue. Thanks heaps Jesse.. you were amazing.

Location great - rooms renovated - comfy bed
The room was renovated but no cupboard for hanging clothes and there was a cockroach in the kitchen. After hours getting back to the hotel was a little difficult as could not come through the front door but through a back door walking past rest rooms. No reception.
