Pros:

Wir haben vor unserer Safari eine Nacht hier verbracht. Das Hotel liegt zentral in Arusha, jedoch nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße, sondern etwas abseits an einem Waldstück. Dadurch war es nachts sehr schön ruhig. Wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer mit einem tollen Blick vom Balkon. Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Haben abends im Restaurant gegessen, was auch gut war - genauso wie das umfangreiche Frühstück. Um das Hotel herum wohnt zudem eine Affenfamilie. Diese morgens zu beobachten war eines meiner Highlights.
Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Leider gab es nur ein Bettlaken (tatsächlich jedoch der Standard in Tansania), was blöd ist wenn man nur als Freunde unterwegs ist. Auf Nachfrage gab es dann noch eine Decke. Trotzdem wäre es grundsätzlich schön, wenn es zwei Laken geben würde.
Ansonsten gab es noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die vielleicht nicht so genau genommen wurden wie in europäischen Hotels. Allerdings war dieses Hotel im Nachhinein trotzdem das Beste was wir auf der ganzen Reise hatten.

Ok Hotel, but beware of possible scammer employees.

Good location, good breakfast

Cons:

No heat in the rooms (it was cold the nights I stayed) and possible scammer employees. For context. I got multiple scam messages related to this reservation both via WhatsApp and via email leading up to my stay. Since neither Greenside or Booking.com seemed bothered by this, I just thought it was an unfortunate situation. Fast forward to my stay, there was a night the WiFi was out and I used an employees hotspot to make a final payment for my upcoming safari. That safari had a very specific payment link. The following day, I received an email from that payment company saying that I had paid the Greenside the amount of my room that I had already paid for. Not only that, but this notification came through an email that I hadn’t even used for the reservation. I have no choice but you believe a Greenside employee (or employees) attempted to steal my information. Luckily, my card and the payment website rejected the charge, but it was unsettling.

One of the cutest things about the hotel is the lovely monkeys that come to visit! 🐒🥰

Exceptional!!
Pros:

Everything was exceptional!! We traveled with family, friends, and business partners on missions and safari and stayed at Greenside Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania. We always stay here, and the property manager, Ms. Lydia, and the staff always take great care of our groups and us. The staff is professional, friendly, and very accommodating! The restaurant is superb. The rooms are very clean, and the beds are super comfortable. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond our expectations of hospitality and always provides us with excellent customer service! I cannot say enough about this hotel. All I can say is that I highly recommend staying here, and this hotel is like our home away from home whenever we travel to the beautiful country of Tanzania!!! 😍

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel. Every time we stay at the Greenside Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania, we are pleasantly surprised at how excellent the customer service is, and we appreciate how well they take care of our groups and us!!

Our stay at Greenside Hotel is always exceptional. The service we received was excellent!! Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant food was amazing! Everyone is so friendly, and professional and accomodating.
