Beautiful environment with great view of lake and good breakfast

The area is beautiful. Plenty of parking and in theory, lots of fun facilities like BBQ, pool etc. The staff are kind and try to please for which I am grateful. Communication with Google Translate is fine. Close to Petite France.
We went during the off-season so we were the only ones in the property, along with maybe 1-2 other small groups. Quiet but felt very abandoned. The facilities are quite old and not well maintained. The photos look great but in reality the condition is deteriorating, so we didn’t use the facilities at all. Hot breakfast was served only on one day while the rest of the time we had to eat at the bakery which had very limited choice. The rooms were not super clean: there were spiderwebs on the ceiling which scared the ladies and kids. The reviewer who said that only hand towels are provided is correct. No large body towels. Shops nearby were all closed. Overall we were expecting much more from this property and though it wasn’t catastrophic, it was nonetheless disappointing.

The View was amazing! will definitely come again. The swimming pool is right by the lake, and there is a fantastic restaurant not 500m away
Insects
The proximity to the lake and activities. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathrooms were excellent. And most importantly, the hot summer days were cooled off by the excellent working air conditioners.
Parking for large vehicles is a little difficult but not impossible. Restaurants are a little far distance wise. So plan accordingly.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essential cooking facilities, making it very convenient for our family. We especially appreciated the common BBQ area, and the staff went above and beyond by helping us prepare the BBQ pit for our gathering.
The property also offers a shared laundry area with washing and drying facilities, which was very useful during our stay. The lady owner was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist whenever needed.
The complimentary breakfast was simple yet delicious, providing a great start to each day. Overall, the warm hospitality, excellent facilities, and comfortable accommodation made our stay a memorable one. We would happily recommend this place to others and would love to return in the future.
The location might be inconvenient if you are not driving. We had to charter a vehicle during our stay to bring us around Gapyeong.
